I had to apologize to my dog for not buying these earlier. I built a run line for my dog and used a different type of snap hook. Unfortunately, the clip gate opened and pinched her skin. So, I ordered these Garwor 4 Pcs Heavy Duty Chrome Swivel Snap Hooks with Spring to replace the former connector.After observing what happened with the former snap hook, I now realize why this type of snap hook is used for dog leashes and run lines. The barrel gate with spring will not open accidentally to pinch your dog's skin. After considerable use, no more incidents occurred. My dog now enjoys her run line and I'm pleased that the problem with the former snap hook has been eliminated.I highly recommend this design of snap hook for use with your pets.

After fumbling with flimsy and small snap hooks on a dog pen, I ordered these snaps- and what a great bargain they are! Polished stainless steel, well-made and sturdy as they have to keep to keep two rambunctious golden retriever puppies in their pen, despite their leaping charges against the sides of the pen. The snap hooks hold solidly, work easily to release when the pups are being allowed out, and are easy to handle at all times.

I live in an area with a lot of wind. My hanging flower baskets on my patio would just blow off the hooks. These hooks that turn 360 degrees allowed me to use a closed screw in hook attached to the beam and my baskets attached to these turning hooks. Problem solved.

Well made and sturdy. Glad I bought the 4 pack. Perfect size for keys, but strong enough for dog leash or similar. Will buy again.

Heavy duty clips with smooth action clasp. If using for dog leashes, probably best for medium to larger dogs given the sturdiness and weight of these clips. High quality product.
