The Thomas Paine Reader (Penguin Classics)

Revolutionary of the Enlightenment who packed as much adventure and experience in his life as most people would have in a dozen ordinary existences. A truly remarkable man. Well worth a read and maybe even a re-read.

This was a required book for an undergrad class. The author is a great writer and the book was of decent quality.

Contains the key texts produced by Paine in a very reasonably-priced single volume. Reading with interest and pleasure every day.

A good read once one gets into it and starts to get accustomed to the old English ways of writing. He was indeed a brilliant mind of his time and surely has shaped today's free thinkers.
