There are two types of MediPeds. One has a loosely knit top that snags on everything. The second type is more like a conventional crew sock with a closely knit weave that is not easily abraded. I find them equally comfortable, but the second type seems to survive longer through washing and wearing and it is what I always buy at the department stores. The photo depicted the close knit type, but I was sent the loose weave. I will not buy these online again.
