The kit arrives well-packaged with six LED tubes individually wrapped. It looks a little tricky at first, but is actually quite simple to assemble. Each tube has a wire with a male and female connector, except for the terminating tube that has only one wire. You simply connect the LED tubes in series. There are also 5 extension wires if you want more spacing between them or will place them on different shelves. The controller/timer then plugs into one end or two. It has two leads so you have a choice of controlling them as one set or two. This controller/timer then plugs into the AC adapter which plugs into a standard electrical outlet. Finally, the LED tubes are designed to attach to shelves or a horizontal stick above your plants. For shelves, use the roll of high quality two-sided tape included. For a stick, simply use the zip ties also included. Set the intensity to 25/50/75 or 100%. Then set the timer to 3-hour (orange), 6-hour (green) or 12 hour (red) intervals. It's as easy as that. While I haven't had it long enough to determine seedling growth rates, I can say it is definitely effective, convenient and consumes less energy than incandescents. The LED's will outlast incandescent options and provide a more effective spectrum for growing. I'd definitely recommend this affordable kit for an early winter start or year-round seedlings.

These are great lights for an indoor hydroponics or regular indoor plants. Initially I tried building it around my hydroponics tower, but decided build it into my ceiling instead. The lights blend right into my ceiling when off and the lights get bright enough that I now plan to add a few more hydroponic towers.I am very impressed by the quality of the lights. I thought these would just be light straps with adhesive on the bottom. These are built very durable and I expect them to last. Each light strip it enclosed in an aluminum shell with a plastic cover. I've had no issues with a bit of water dripping or misting on them from the plants.The timer function is nice but I ended up using a TP-link smart outlet to turn it on and off from my phone. The light strip is smart enough to remember your settings between power cycles so it I am able to fully automate the schedule using the tp-link software. Combining multiple tp-link outlets for my hydroponics water pump allows me to fully automate the watering and light schedule of my plants without any manual input. This is a must have for a smart home hydroponics system.

I like that you can split the lights into 1 or 2 paths, and then each light is then powered off the previous light (daisy chained). The timer allows 12 hrs on automatically, and it has a dim function (but I do not see why you would dim the lights. ). I used the supplied double sided tape (they give you plenty) to mount the lights under the cabinets in my kitchen, that way I can have the lights come on at night for herbs etc to grow.I have still to clean up my wiring, but the plants are growing away.

They fit their purpose perfectly if you have a smaller collection, or just need a bit of extra lighting for your plants. Make sure to read the manual closely, and abide by all possible hazards as you should with any product and you will be pleased with your purchase!

For me, this lamp set clearly stands out from the average America standard. Not only is it design IP67, which makes it ideal for my balcony greenhouse, it is also a well-thought-out product design. I can connect the lamps in any combination, there are enough extension cables, all plugs (see above) are specially secured with a bayonet lock against water and the otherwise mostly hard-wired soft remote control can be easily omitted if I have the whole thing on an upstream one Wants to operate the timer. The Power tape, which I could use elsewhere, also holds up pretty well (even if the protective film is a bit fiddly).Of a total of four copies, not one was defective in any way, there is a usable manual with it - all of this pleased me so much that after the first two I bought two more colors and I really didn't care about the few wrong colors under the cable ties, which were also plenty included are. Thanks for this great product, I hope and think it will ensure a good harvest.

So I originally bought 2 packs of these LED strips because I've bought them in the past from a different shop and they work wonders!!! This shop was offering the same set for $15 cheaper so I thought why not! Let's go for it because I love to save money if I can! Well let me just tell you! SAVE YOUR MONEY or shop with another shop! I've only had this set for about a week. We own a rare plant shop so we have our lights on for about 12 hrs a day! We came in today and smelled an awful, hot, burning plastic smell and 1 of the sets of lights were blinking continuously like there was a short in the wires. So my husband obviously went over to unplug them and the plug was so hot he couldn't even hold it!! Thank god we found it when we did because it started melting from the inside out which is what the little bump is on the plug in the pic! I know it might not be a huge spot but left unnatended any longer and it surely would have started an electrical fire and our storefront could have burned to the ground!! There would have went our livelyhood!! So please spend the extra $ and buy from a shop you know and trust!! It's not worth it to save a few bucks but have your lights catch fire!! Please take this review seriously!! Wouldn't wish that on anyone!!

Everything in the box is good after open box checking.The LED strip set is a neat and cute design and ideals for my indoor plants. It can be a decorate lights as well.The set has easy and secured connecting plugs and extension cords. I can combine them as 1x4, or 1x3+1x1, or 2x2, or 1x1+1x2, or 1x1+1x1, or 1x2, or 1x1 for different spots with the extension cords. Also Dual channel function plus Auto Cycle Timer can control the different combinations for different plants' illuminating requirement. Press power button to turn on the strip and continue press to change brightness. It is very efficient. I love it.I recommend this product. I will buy again when I need.

Bought this for my small seeding and propogation workshop to replace the dual 4feet T8 LED tubes :). So far I had all what I need. Two heat mats with two plant trays and growing light.This light is very flexible to extend if you need to add more.Attached two pictures, one is nature light and the other is this growing light. Looks not bright than the natual light.but this is growing light only has red and blue. will see the result later.The timer is simple and easy to use. the only thing is it will reset to 12hours if power off. Since I use timer for power control of the light and heat mats. this is not convenient to me.But it still good enough for me to start.I will try this and come back to update later.

The light is easy to install, I like it that it comes with extra cables which allows me to install them at different levels of shelves. Have not been able to see the difference on plants, but I am finally able to move seedings from living room to garage. The built-in timer is a big bonus too.
