Will this fill holes in wood paneling before painting the wood?

This product is to patch plaster. I recommend reading the product description and usage. It may work. For paneling, I recommend a wood filler.

I can buy the 4.5 gallon container at Lowe's any day of the week for the price you charge for this little container. Why buy your?

Convenience!!!! Because Lowes does not deliver to my door for such a small amount. I don't need or want 4.5 gallons. I would just wind up throwing it out or storing it until it dried up... Then after a few years of tripping over the bucket, I'd be wondering what value there was in over-buying! Go figure!
