An excellent yin yang pot. Very sturdy and heats up fast on an induction cooktop (can also be used with a regular stove). The divider is seamless so no cross contamination. Be careful as the handles do get hot, so use mitts. Each side holds about 6 cups of liquid. This pot can accommodate 4 diners comfortably, up to 6. Anymore diners and you’ll want to have a second setup. With the Duxtop induction cooktop, set the pot to boil (10 mins), then set it to 180. This keeps the sides boiling without boiling over into each other.It has a ceramic coating so it should be scratch resistant. Scooping with a metal scooper wasn’t a problem, but don’t go crazy. Take care of it and it should last a life time. Excellent product, given the smaller, lower quality yin yang pots run about $25 or more and their crimped and spot welded divider will likely leak at some point. Highly recommended if you plan to hot pot often with friends and family.

As someone with a soy allergy, I was looking for a pot that divides the soy-based broth and non-soy. Many pots on here tend to leak. I've used this many times during our hotpot nights since my purchase. It's been great. And haven't seen any signs of leakage. This is also great quality, I don't see this damaging anytime soon.Tip: I can see that the non-stick may damage over time, so definitely recommend using non-metal utensils to prevent that! Been doing this and haven't seen any damage

I've tested other "induction" compatible pots with my magnet and they had such a weak attraction. This pot has actual real, strongly magnetic metal on the bottom. I purposely bought this for my induction cooker. The pot is high quality coated and does not disappoint. I highly recommend.Note... does not have insulated handles. Handles can get hot. Pot can slide around on induction cooker.

The bottom is magnetic, except for a very small ring in the center which is slightly smaller than a U.S. quarter which is only slightly magnetic. Due to the large 11 inch diameter of this cookware I was worried that it might not get hot enough using my Duxtop 9610LS BT-200DZ portable induction cooktop (which only has a heating diameter of roughly 6 inches), but it surprisingly has no issue heating the entire volume (about 6 cups on each side, or 12 cups total) to a full rolling boil in only a few minutes. The material is also surprisingly lightweight, and has an outer coating which feels almost like plastic. Unfortunately the two handles on the sides do conduct heat from the rest of the cookware, so you will still need to use heat safe gloves to pick up the pot before it has cooled.

I wanted a hotpot bowl that could work with my portable induction stove since induction heats of water quickly.This is super easy to clean, sturdy, and large enough to serve 3 people. Though, like others have stated, there is no protection for the handles! They do get very hot, and I bought some rubber holders that fit perfectly. Do not try to handle this while it's warm, because you might get burned!

I bought this pot for just hotpot so I hardly used it but after a few uses, a lot of the “ceramic” coating came off. The reason I quoted ceramic as now I am actually worried it might not be ceramic as it states. I am extremely disappointed.

Great construction, easy to clean, really rugged, good thermal properties, a very good product

The pot itself is quite nice. It seems to be constructed in a single piece, either that or the coating has covered the seams quite well. The lid, however, arrived damaged. Is someone able to arrange for another lid to be sent?

The shabu is lightweight and has a solid separator to leave no gaps for the soup to seep through. The downside is that the ceramic coating is very thin, and after two dinners and washes, the inner started to peel. The bottom was also showing signs of rust, and I'm thinking the paint does not protect the pot effectively from the heat and after washes. So for a grand total of 80, I don't think it's worth the buy and had this returned. Really wish it was higher quality.

Have been looking for a hotpot pot with ceramic coating.Love the construction of the divider. no worry about debris stuck under divider.
