I have installed quite a few screen protectors in my life and have gotten to the point where I expect them to all mostly be the same, but I am quite impressed with this one from Sparin for my new Moto X Pure Edition. It sets itself apart from the standard smartphone screen protector in aesthetics, feel, resistance to installation issues, and quality of installation instructions. It's too early to judge durability, but I'm hopeful given the thickness and solid feel of it that it will last. Considering its price, its looking like the best screen protector I've bought yet.Installation: right out of the box I could tell it was a quality product simply from the extra tools they give you to install it cleanly. You expect to get the little cloth for cleaning and maybe (but not always) a hard card to smooth out bubbles, but Sparin also includes two little stickers that help you hold the protector in place so you can position it just right, which is a nice touch and not something I've gotten in other protectors before. It's also got one wet wipe and one dry wipe, which you then follow with the cloth, then a sticker to get remaining dust particles. These are all probably pretty cheap to include and could honestly just do with household items, but getting them all in the package ensures you don't miss anything. The installation took me about 15 minutes to do thoroughly, but with the extras they give you it was the cleanest installation I've ever had. I am used to having to try 3 or 4 times before I'm rid of all the dust and bubbles, but this time went on flawlessly on the first try. Awesome.Once installed it looks great. I mainly bought this due to the claims about its clarity, as I'm used to the kind that either have anti glare and completely wash out your colors, or that do that anyways even without the anti glare. Thus one is pretty darn clear and bright. Holding it up next to my wife's phone (same model) without a protector yet shows that the color is only just a tad duller. If I hadn't compared I wouldn't even know, as I couldn't tell just looking at it alone.The Sparin protector feels much better than I'm used to as well. My finger slides well on it, just as with the actual screen. The typical style of protector has a slightly tacky feel usually, noticeably different from the unprotected glass screen. Not this one.The difference in thickness from a typical protector really is noticeable before you install it, and only after installation if you look closely where it ends. It does give me hope that it will hold up well, but honestly at this price I don't really care if I have to go through maybe 2 more per year.The protector is cut pretty well for this phone. If I didn't have the clear bumper thing that came with the phone on it, I would perhaps be just a tad disappointed that it doesn't go all the way to the edge of the screen, but we're talking only a few millimeters. And it's clear that the reason for this is so that it will fit with this bumper case (or I'm sure other cases), because with that on the cut of the protector is near as close as it could get before it would be difficult to install. It nearly fills the entire width, probably no more than 1mm gap combined across both sides. At top and bottom there's a bit more gap, maybe 2mm total (guesstimating).I'd say it seems to be a little more resistant to smudges and fingerprints, although that happens no matter what you've got on the screen (including nothing) so don't expect miracles.Haven't had it long enough to judge durability or life of stickiness, but its stuck on there good so I expect it will be fine.I'm very happy with my purchase, recommend it to others, and will be buying again if I need more.

Okay, first things first, DO go to their tutorial on Youtube and watch the WHOLE THING before applying your screen protector. Really.This tempered Glass style screen protector comes in a NICE box. I got a 2 pack, and I'm half convinced they make the 2 pack cheap enough for it not to make sense to get just one, because they KNOW we're all going to try to put it on right away without watching at the tutorial, ruining one of your screen protectors in the process. The pack comes with all the cleaning products and sticker-anchors needed to attach it well and correctly. I've got mine on now (with the second time successful cool finger swipe glide attachment they show) and it's holding up well so far.I've noticed a small amount of additional pressure needed to activate the touch screen, though it's only really noticeable during long swipe-texting sessions and doesn't really bother me most of the time. Additionally, though I purchased a set that says it's for the Moto X Pure (my phone, I know, is rather out of date) there is a few millimeter gap along the outer edge on one side. If I'd centered it better, I'd just have a half-of-that-millimeter gap along both sides. I'm not super fussy and most of the screen is protected, but if you've got a Moto X Pure, you might want to check the size carefully before application.Overall, very good and for the price, excellent. Just... trust me on this. Watch the tutorial for application first.

All in all, this is a good screen protector. It comes with tools to aid in the installation and it goes on pretty easily. The problem is...the protector is 2-3mm too narrow. It does not cover the visable area of the screen side to side. Sparin says that is because the Moto X Pure has a curved screen and they had to make it smaller so that it adheres at the edges. If you get it perfectly centered side to side (not an easy task) there will be a small gap on both sides where you will see the outline of the protector in the visable screen area. Also, it still may show signs of not adhering at the very edges. All of this is not really noticeable unless you are looking for it.With the first protector I applied, there were bubbles around the rectangular bar at the bottom where it would not stick. Also, the little tabs they provide to aid in installation would not stick to the textured back on the phone. Had to install freehand...not a big deal.Customer service. I got the obligatory email asking how I liked the product. So, I responded and told them about the issues I had with the product. After a day or so, I got a response from them basically saying it was my fault. Bad installation. Try again. I responded that I didn't see how their product design was my problem. They responded (isn't this fun) sorry for the misunderstanding try the second protector and we will give you $1 refund. I told them to keep their $1 but I would try the second one. But, I expected them to honor their warranty and send a replacement.I installed the second one. The same size issue was there but this time no bubbles. So it is acceptable. After a couple of days I got a code from them which allowed me to purchase another 2 pack free.All in all, way too much trouble. If they had not given me the free replacement, this would have been a 1 star review.

Well packaged. Instructions are very clear. The glass went on without a hitch. No trapped air bubbles. The main problem? It doesn't fit the screen. I understand the Moto x style/pure is curved at the edges but the screen protector isn't big enough width ways. It leaves a gap on either side of the LCD (not the phone) the actual visible screen. Which isn't a huge issue. But it does create a vertical rainbow effect line on the screen. Slightly distracting , if it had been just another 1-2 mm wider then it would fit the visible LCD part of the screen. I would have given it 5 stars if it had fitted better.

The shape of the protector at the bottom of the Moto X means that the two glass tabs either side of the speaker cannot adhere correctly, and will raise up. This was the case for both protestors, which were applied correct.
