Great filter. Same as the expensive ones
I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. Installation was incredibly straightforward – it took me less than 10 minutes to set up, which is a testament to its user-friendly design.Maintenance is just as easy; changing the filter involves a simple twist and replace, with no tools required. The instructions are clear, making the process intuitive even for those not particularly tech-savvy.But where this filter really shines is in the taste of the water it produces. It transforms ordinary tap water into something refreshingly pure, stripping away any odd tastes or odors that were previously there. Each glass of water is now a delight to drink, encouraging me to stay hydrated throughout the day.Overall, this filter has exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of use, maintenance, and most importantly, the quality of water it provides. If you're looking for a hassle-free way to enjoy great-tasting water at home, this filter is definitely worth considering.

Pretty good water filter
Well I can’t say that I have tested it or anything, but I do notice that my tea tastes a whole heck of a lot better. The filters are a pain to clear out because of my kitchen set up but I managed to clear them

Great choice!
I was uncertain about this purchase at first, but once it arrived it was so easy to set up, and the water tastes so smooth! It’s not that inconvenient to carry when full either. However, don’t have the top layer more then half way; when I did that it leaked. I always encourage people to make the healthy decision, and if you’re looking for a good affordable way to filter your water, this is a great choice!

Great water filtration system!
I’ve been eyeing a Berkey for a few years, but they don’t ship to California, so I was excited when I stumbled across the WaterDrop gravity flow system that’s basically the same thing. It’s a major bonus that it’s a few hundred dollars cheaper. There isn’t a sewer system where I live, and the ground water is terrible. I got a humidifier a few years ago, but have been unable to use it because after filling it with tap water, the mist coming out of it would smell like urine. I’ve been happily using my humidifier for the past few days and it smells like nothing. I also did the red dye test after it was assembled, and the water came out crystal clear. I’ve had no issues with leakage after assembly either. The reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is for two reasons:1) Before assembly and every month afterwards you’re suppose to prime/flush the filters. They supply you with a gasket that you’re supposed to attach to the filter and to a water faucet (I’ve included a picture of this next to my kitchen faucet). They state that the gasket will fit around most faucets, but unless your house was built in the 1990s or before, I’d guess there is at least a 50% chance it won’t fit due to the variety of sizes and shapes of modern faucets. I wish they had made one side of that gasket stretchier to fit over all fixtures.2) While assembly wasn’t difficult, attaching the faucet wasn’t exactly easy either. They do provide you with a wrench, which is a bonus, but because the walls of the WaterDrop are rounded you can only tighten the bolt 1/8 of a turn at a time. It probably took me 15 minutes to attach it. If you don’t own a bendy ratchet it takes forever to attach the faucet and get it tight. They also recommend disassembling the whole unit every month to clean it. There is no way a normal person will want to remove that faucet every month and reattach it.Overall a great system, I would definitely recommend it.

Good Alternative to the Expensive Version
So far I am impressed! I wanted a Ber - key but wasn’t sold on the cost. When this came on sale for $170 including filters, I knew it was worth a try.First impressions:- It took me an hour to set up by myself. That included cleaning it meticulously and trying to get the filters installed correctly (that was confusing for me the first time but next time I’ll know).- I do recommend that you prime at least twice, as the instructions recommend. Like, fill it up all the way, let it filter through, drain it all, and repeat. I did it twice and I noticed that after two times it still had a lemon-y / metallic-y taste from the filters. By the third time that taste was totally gone.- So far I’m impressed with the water taste. I haven’t tested the water quality yet compared to my ZeroWater pitcher, but I will be. I’ll also update here once I know better of the longevity of the filters. But so far, I’m impressed and happy with my purchase. I have four people in my household who drink a lot of water and I’m happy to provide cleaner, healthier water for everyone.

Stupid design. Ruined my hardwood floors.
The water tanks are stainless steel with no indication of the water level. If you accidentally overfill the bottom tank, the gap between the two tanks isn't sealed. The water will slowly leak everywhere. You won't notice immediately because it takes hours for the top tank to empty to the bottom tank. The top tank is the same size as the bottom - which is completely idiotic because there is no way you would ever need as much water on the top as the bottom. The only thing that does is facilitate accidentally overfilling the bottom tank and causing a catastrophic leak. Avoidable, obviously, but it only takes one mistake to ruin your floors. We used it for a few months without issue, until one morning my fiance filled the top tank, not realizing I had already done it the night before. We both went to work and when I came home the floor was flooded with 2 gallons of water that had dripped for nearly 10 hours.Floor ruined.Thousands to repair. Thanks Waterdrop...

Immaculate customer service
Easy to set up. Filtration seems to work great and water has a good clean taste. We’ve had a couple minor product issues - like a screw breaking off between the white and black filter - and both times customer service has been immaculate and immediately sent us replacement parts for free. Super responsive and easy to do business with which is rare these days.
