Delicious Rye Bread!
Okay, now I have never spent this much on bread ($24 for 2 loafs) but Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods were all out for about a week and I recently had knee surgery and can't get out to the supermarket. I am diabetic and Rye bread is really the only bread I can eat that I really like. I came across Stern's Rye Fresh Bread on Amazon and the reviews were awesome, its the Holidays so I ordered to treat myself. When I received my order I immediately opened the box and I automatically got a whiff of the Rye bread and it smelled great! I toasted one piece and added a little butter and this Rye bread was delicious! Fresh, hearty and has a little chew to it. Its Wonderful! Yes, a bit pricey but I'm not disappointed!

My husband loves Rye bread, he certainly did not like this one

Potassium bromate
Why would anyone in their right mind use potassium bromate? It is carcinogenic and it is banned in many countries. I bought two loaves and did not read the ingredients list because I did not think that in 2026 potassium bromate would still be added. SHAME!

Everything I wanted
The bread was exactly what I wanted and needed. It was extremely fresh and made excellent by sandwiches. I wil have no hesitancy in purchasing it again.
