The pros greatly outweigh the cons: I love the 6 gallon tank; but I have two reservations
PROS:[1] A huge plus is the 6 gallon tank.. most generators in this class hold only 4 gallons...[2] in my test today it started very easily on first pull. I filled it with one gallon of gas and ran it at zero load... it ran for 5.4 hours. It is rated as running 19 hours at 50% load[3] Very solid build quality and look and feel. It seems to have significantly better quality than the dead Durostar generator it replaced.CONS:[1] On level ground, it stopped running with fuel still in the tank. To drain remaining fuel I had to put a 3 inch block under the front of the generator (defining the end with wheels as the rear, and the opposite end as front). Once the block was in place, it ran for four hours before running out of fuel.Stopping when there is still fuel in the tank is a very annoying defect. These days you should empty every drop of gasoline before you store any product with a small gasoline engine, because otherwise your fuel lines get messed up by ethanol if in storage for more than a few months. I lost a Champion generator and a Craftsman lawnmower and a Sears snow blower because fuel had not been totally emptied before storing them.[2] The instruction manual does not say how much oil to add on first use. I deduced I should use the entire 20.3 ounce bottle of oil supplied with the generator. I hope I am not wrong.PERFORMANCE:I filled it with one gallon of gas and ran it at zero load... it ran for at least 5 hours and 24 minutes. It is rated as running 19 hours at 50% load on a full tank of six gallons, or about 3.2 hours per gallon. On level ground it ran for just 1 hour and 10 minutes. After tilting it about 10 degrees with wheels on the ground, the other end raised 3" it ran for an additional 4 hours. I hope this did not screw up the flow of oil within the engine

Excellent Generator
Excellent Generator from a quality standpoint. It does a great job as a generator, but It is loud. It is loud because it is a strong generator. I also prefer an invertor, which it dose not have. Still a great generator, one of the best in my opinion, just not what I need for camping. It will run an entire house, but you can hear it in the house. Worth every penny.

Very loud … very heavy
It’s just much louder than expected. Too loud for normal camping - good power but too loud
