Recommended over a 15"+ Nagoya
Needed an antenna I could trust. I have ordered Juentai products before and in the mess of all the antennas out there I decided to go with this one. The SWR is around where it's advertised at about 1.5 on VHF or lower. UHF is a bit over at around 2 which is a little disappointing and is why it loses a few stars. None the less, this antenna still performs better than most. It actually out performs the long 15+ inch Nagoya my friend has (his SWR is off the charts). The Juentai RH-701 is as durable as you would expect with a rubber whip type antenna and isn't unwieldy like some of its cousins. I'm probably going to pick up another to replace my friends Nagoya. Only down side besides UHF SWR was because of international shipping, it was slow to arrive. If you use UHF more often you might want to consider an antenna that's been verified to have lower SWR on 70cm/UHF or equivalent.I do have another coming and will update if necessary.
