Excellent Hamstring Wrap! Great Support! Really Comfortable! I had a hamstring tear and needed to play in a lacrosse tournament with 5 games in 3 days. It worked great and stayed in position the entire time, it never slid down my leg and provided great support for the 5 games.

I recently pulled (possibly tore) my hamstring playing ball. It was really bad. I couldn't walk for a few days and frankly couldn't get comfortable sitting/laying/standing anything. I bought a sleeve at a major sports store and it was fair, but I knew I wouldn't be on the field any time soon, so looked for something like this that I could make tight.I read reviews here and they were what I needed to push me in the right direction. Long story short, I iced/rested/stretched/kept the sleeve that I had on for healing and this wrap arrived the day I was to get back on the field. I strapped it on my still quite sore leg and was able to make it really tight and fully stabalize my hamstring. I didn't go 100 percent on it and it still hurt a little, but it was awesome. I could loosen or make it tighter and I didn't have any trouble with slippage. I absolutely love the pad that's in it and know that now, about three weeks after my injury it's like I was never hurt in the first place. I LOVE this wrap. It's even good for holding on an ice pack post-game. It's also really slim, so it fits under my shorts with no discomfort.The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I REALLY sweat in this. Not just a little, but like dripping down my leg. It still didn't slip on me, but I wish the material was breathable or something so that I didn't melt in it.

I had almost a complete tear of my hamstring tendon at the attachment site. The pain was difficult and doing my normal chores at home and around our farm was tough. I had to stop doing any cardio at my gym which caused me to be restless. After almost 4 months of rehab I still had pain doing simple things. I got this hoping it would help me to progress and I could not be happier. It’s a little tough to get it up high enough but it definitely gives enough support to reduce my pain and give me more mobility. I wore it to the gym the first time under my tights and was pulling it up constantly. The next time I wore it over my tights and I still had to readjust it occasionally but at least I could take it off and reapply quickly and easily. It does slip when I get sweaty so I generally put it over my clothes. This brace has given me much more ability to do the things I love. A great investment.

I've never had hamstring problems, so I was quite upset when I pulled/strained my right hamstring during a tennis tournament. I gave the leg a few days rest, but wanted to get back on the court ASAP, so I ordered this wrap based on positive reviews. My strain was high on the leg, an awkward place for a wrap. The Pro-Tec product has some serious Velcro fasteners, so it fastens tightly and positively. The only drawback is that it will slip down your leg during hard exercise. Simply a matter of anatomy. I solved this with a pair of Nike compression shorts worn over the wrap. That isn't how you're supposed to do it, but it worked for me. It provided excellent support and the pressure pad allows you to concentrate the support over the exact spot of the muscle pull. I've been wearing the Pro-Tec wrap every time I play tennis since the injury, and after a couple of weeks my hammie is back to normal with minimal loss of exercise time. Well worth it (as long as you realize that it will not stay up on its own if you sweat or exercise hard) to minimize downtime while your muscle heals. I'd give it five stars if there were a way to keep it in place on its own, but I don't know how that could be done.

I tore a groin muscle years ago playing hockey, and which seems to rear its ugly head every now and then. This wrap does a great job enabling me to continue working, exercising or whatever it is that I'm doing. The only problem (and the reason I only gave 4 stars) is the velcro wears out much too quickly. This is the 5th one I have purchased (other wraps just didn't work as well) because of the velcro. Although this latest one is fine so far, it seems identical to the previous ones, making me think I may need another in the not too distant future.

Had a Ham string tear with an avulsion fracture due to a fall. No surgery due to the fact that I'm "post athletic age" meaning I'm over the big "50".. Orthopedic Surgeon recommended a compression wrap in place of the Ace wrap they used in the hospital. I had tried two other wraps that pulled on however they did not work due to so much swelling in my thigh I couldn't pull it up high enough even with my husbands help. Found this wrap read the reviews and decided to try it. So glad that I did!!! I wrap it tight enough that it does not slide down. It can slide if not wrapped tight. As the swelling has gone down I just wrap it a little tighter. It does become sweaty, especially now that I'm more mobile and outside walking with a cane in the summer heat. But I just take it off and wipe it down with a damp wash cloth and some soap. Then I just dry it with a dry towel. When I went back to my doctor for a follow up he saw this wrap and was very impressed with it!!! I've been wearing it 24/7 for a month now. I would give it 10 stars if I could. It was exactly what I needed when I needed it!!

I was hoping this would work for a serious hamstring injury and it would have. The problem I had was the pad inside the wrap was causing an allergice reaction to my leg. When I looked at the pad after the first time using I noticed "hair like" pieces coming out (as you can see in attached pictures). This was causing the redness, itching and bumps! I tried to return and it was not returnable ( I did not notice) and quite expansive! I would look around for something without a pad and returnable. They need to rethink material used in pad!!

Bought this apparatus to assist with resolving a hamstring injury. Did notice less pain and stiffness in my hamstring after the 2nd day of using as recommended

i checked the info on this brace but there is no info on what it is made of. well it is made of similar materials you would use around your waist for weight loss which usually makes you sweat. i bought it for hamstring support not weight loss and because of what it is made of it does not breath to prevent sweatting.i put at least partial blame on the manufacturer for not stating what it was made of, otherwise i would not have ordered it because my skin does not get along with this material oh well i will have to make do or give it to someone that could use it

Its ok. Not universal like it advertises. the Velcro does wrap. probably need a larger hamstring. I may have to cut it down to size. probably just a elastic wrap would have done the trick

I recently purchased this wrap. I looked everywhere for this in my City.I strained my hamstring playing soccer. It works fantastic and keeps my thigh and hamstring protected. It does get hot but it is a great product.

Really helped rebuild confidence in hamstring post-injury. Easy to wrap down tight and stays in place
