I'm not sure how much can be said about Ethernet cables, but I've bought a few DanYee cables over the past couple of years and I've always been happy with the performance. This Cat 8 cable is just the same. I needed something for my 10G Switch and NAS system and this gets the job done beautifully. The speeds are on point and I'm having no issues whatsoever with connection dropouts or anything. I bought a little longer cable than I needed, but that will let me put it to use in other places down the road if I need. Installing it is a snap and just like any other Ethernet cable as far as getting things in place. I'm going to be in the market for a 50' or 100' cable very soon and this is the brand I plan on going with for that purchase as well. Great value for the money!

Great Does it's Job

Okay, this is this nicest looking and sturdiest feeling Ethernet cable I've ever seen. Everything feels firm and crisp with this. Easy installation just plugged and played right from the Ethernet port. The connectivity is now great ... it is now 10,000 times faster than WiFi 7 from less than 10 feet away! The connections fit just fine in both my computer and the wireless hub/router unit. The cable is flat, as in, thicker in one direction than the orthogonal direction...I mean the long direction is the long direction. For a short length (10 feet) it was fantastic value for money, but I have my doubts that this would be so good for a long, say ... 50 ft cable. But I didn't price those lengths...I just assumed it would be more expensive because I'm impressed with the quality and feel of this product.

The form and fit of this product is superb. The look and apparent manufacturing technique is outstanding. I bought this because I thought it would perform at least as good as the patch cable that came with my modem (a yellow cable labeled CAT-5e about 6 feet long)or my Google wifi modem cable that connects from the router to the first mesh device(a greyish flat cable with nothing printed on the cable about 6 feet long capable of 1Gbps speed according to Google). I thought this cable would be better than both of them regarding speed alone. But when tested I get my paid for 40Mbps speed with these two cables and 31Mbps with this very fine looking and manufactured Cat 7 Ethernet Cable, Danyee Nylon Braided 26ft CAT7 High Speed Professional Gold Plated Plug. I was not misled by this company but I thought I would get the same download speed (40Mbps) with this product that I get with these other two products. I bought this Cat 7 Ethernet Cable, Danyee Nylon Braided 26ft CAT7 High Speed Professional Gold Plated Plug product because it looks much better and fits the decor of my setting much better. Disappointed only because the speed dropped 25% for me. Nothing in what I read on Amazon or on the internet led me to believe or said that the extra 20 feet of cable would make that much of a download speed drop.

Purchased this cable to hardwire my ps5 directly to my router as wifi ping speeds were +50, now being directly connected its constantly 10-17 average, good enough for me and definitely helped with the ping spikes as well. This cable definitely seems like its we'll made and not some flimsy cable

This is a very nice Ethernet cable. The outer woven nylon covering is excellent, and the cable works perfectly. I was connecting via WIFI, but it was slow. I switched to this Ethernet cable and now get the highest speed from the local ISP. They advertise 200 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, but with this cable the download speed is 230+ Mbps. The upload is 20 Mbps, same as when I connect with WIFI 5G. I use this on a Mac Pro (Mid 2010) running macOS Mojave with 32GB system memory. The build-in WIFI is 5G, but there is a steel door (metal) between the computer and the cable modem, which might be the problem. However, my iPhone 12 mini connects via WIFI and gets the very fast download and upload speeds. After switching to this cable and connecting directly to the cable modem and Mac Pro, the download speed is superb, and the upload speed is as advertised by the ISP. It's a high-quality cable. I am happy!
