Outward Hound Scruffles Pig Plush Squeaky Dog Toy, Small

Puppy LOVES his pig, takes it everywhere! But as the mom of an aggressive chewer it needs a little design improvement. The pictures were taken after 3 hours of play. He already has one ear almost off and is working on the other. I would recommend changing "dangling" pieces to durable canvas or something similar. Will see how the rest holds up. It's a great toy, but does require you to supervise aggressive chewers. Update. One week in, both ears are gone and tonight he demolished the nose and proceeded to destuff it. NOT recommended.for aggressive chewers.

Our little Jack Russell/German Shepherd (yes, I know... LOL... he looks like a mini German Shepherd but has the attitude of a Jack) LOVES this toy. He normally tears toys to shreds and disembowels them immediately to get the squeaker out, but for whatever reason, these toys truly last! He's had another TUFF toy for 2 years and it's perfect, squeaks like the say we got it. Husband and I laughed at the name of this one, Charming Scruffles. Our brilliant yet tiny pup knows the names of his toys. We say, "Go get Charming Scruffles!" He will bipass all other toys and come trotting back with this guy squeaking it all the way. These are by far his favorite toys of all time!

Update 12.12.19- 3rd one purchased- Chainging to 5*'s because we've learned she's a power chewer. It's now tradition to get her a moose every year for Christmas! It's expensive but it's also a special and meaningful gift for all.When we adopted our Daisy, who is a Daushaund/Beagle mix-the shelter sent her home with a stuffed, squeaky, Moose toy that had been in her pen since she arrived (apparently she carried it everywhere). That Moose toy lasted a couple months; After much searching I found this Moose toy which was identical to the one she came home with, elated we could give her a Christmas gift she'd Really enjoy. She went absolutely bonkers for it and it was non stop squeaking for 10 minutes. Then it was over. She'd destroyed it in NO time at all. Disappointment because of the cost, it's much more than most dog toys, and the description says tuff guard durability.

I gave this three stars as our dog is a genius wrecking machine. She is a smart golden retriever, and attacks plush toys as if she is a hyena on the Serengeti stumbling on a day old kill. The budget off-brand toys typically last about 5-10 minutes. This lasted nearly an hour. And oh, the joy she had during that hour! She carried it in her mouth throughout the house, stopping only to pounce and shred during her hour long rein of terror wreaking plush-toy carnage. We don't blame the toy.That said, if your dog is a chewer and shredder and goes about wubbie disembowelment with Hannibel Lechter precision, then look at hard rubber toys, as this will be like flushing money down the drain.

Bought this because of the "k9 tuff guard" we have a lot of those products that last but this one didn't make it longer than 4 hours. it's super cute and perfect for a mild chewer/squeaker-killer :)

This was a great size for a 6lb fur ball! It was thoroughly dog tested and approved. This toy is light enough to be carried around the back yard, into a crate and onto a bed. Has lasted for 2 months so far and the squeakers is still intact. It is Pink, it is a Pig, it is perfect!

This is the second one she has had.... the first was one of her first toys, from a friend. When she went to the kennel for the first time, I made sure that she had it with her, but one of the other pups tore it up. I ordered this new one right away and she loves it just the same. Its a 'squeak' toy, but not as high pitched as others (i has a bigger bladder than the small ones), although i think it does have a small squeaker in the nose. All in all a cute little toy which my pup loves.

My dogs love these squeaky toys and the squeakers are pretty quiet compared to others, so I also love them. 😬 Usually one of my dogs can tear up a stuffed animal in 10 minutes flat, but this has lasted a few days now without any tears. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy these for my boys again.

Dog loves it

I have no idea why my Border Collie does not like the toy as it is cute and well made. I thought perhaps it smelled funny to her so I washed it, but she still will not touch it. Who knows what goes through the mind of a Border Collie?

Disappointed. I bought the lamb at my local pet store and it’s still going strong. So I decided to buy the moose and the pig made by the same company. Both were destroyed within a few hours. I’m not sure what happened and why there’s such a discrepancy in quality. I’m disappointed.

I have a 4lbs dog, very small and the ripping within 1 day of playing with the toy.My dog was choking on the stuffing inside. If you care about your dog i high recommend avoiding this product

My one year old lab plays with it every day and it is still in one piece (owned for over a month). Best dog stuffy I've ever purchased.

Really durable dog toy. My dog tears apart toys. He guts most of them in minutes. This one has lasted months. Very very durable.Dual squeakers are tolerable (but all squeakers are a little annoying as that's what they do).

I bought this at a local pet shop and my puppy loved it the first time. When she went thru it i got this one and again it is her favorite

Super disappointed with the toy, I have all the animals in this series and they are super easy to squeak which is why my dog loves them so much. This one however barely squeaks and you really have to work hard at it. My dog can't make it squeak at all.
