hmmmmm......yes...and yes.If you like spicy stuff, even if just a little bit - but don't like having the taste that typically goes along with it. Get...this...stuff! Put it in an old pepper grinder so you can get a very fine amount instead of larger flakesIt may seem crazy - but the way we look at it, buy the hottest stuff you can find, and then add very small amounts until you get the heat you want, and you don't mess up the flavors of whatever dish you are making. I've added this to Chili, tacos, rice, beans, salads, potatoes...pretty much everything. It is amazing, provides a very nice amount of heat in small quantities, enough to let you know it's there without smashing your mouth like a sledge hammer. Now, if you like that thing - by all means add a little more and it'll happily oblige the request.This has become my go-to heat additive for everything I eat now. simply amazing

AH-MAY-ZING!!! Love this stuff!!! I love my food spicy,and regular pepper flakes havent done me any good in years. Wanted to see if i could handle these flakes. They are just what i wanted!The heat is very apparent but to me not too overwhelming,and they have a delicious fruity flavor to them, as compared to ghost pepper which is more smoky.A little bit will go a LONGGG way!!! But i put this on my pizza,hot dogs, sandwiches, you name it. I passed this stuff around at work and some couldnt handle the heat but one friend even had me order a bottle for her!!Was worried about the size,but the 1 oz is the size of an average spice container you get at your local grocery.Will definitely reorder! Only had for about a month and its already 1/3rd gone. Though the 1oz size should last an average person at least a year or so.

I recieved my carolina reaper flakes today in the philippines where i live and couldnt wait to try them, i put some in my bowl of chili and it was great, good flavor and nice heat, will definitly buy more in the future. Charles peat. tagum city philippines

I was debating between getting the flakes or the powder. From online reviews I read that the powder isn't as hot as the flakes. Nevertheless, I ordered this and decided to give it a go. They weren't kidding when they said this was the hottest pepper in the world. Literally one or two flakes will start a fire in your mouth, guaranteed. It's almost uncomfortable how hot it is, it travels all throughout your digestive system and you feel every nanogram of it. You may need an extinguisher ready any time you plan on using this! I tried the ghost pepper powder from Sonoran Spice and let me tell you, this is TWICE as hot, if not 3 times! Shipping was fast and came in less than 2 days from Arizona (I live in FL). BEWARE if you plan on using this in soups! The flakes can accumulate in one spot and one gulp may be much, much hotter than the other! This is more suited for topical application of cooked foods like pizza or chicken. Overall a great purchase and I am wholly satisfied with this product.

Holy cow. Finally some real heat. I was expecting a dud. Habanera is my medium, this is hot to me. Hoping the ghost pepper fleck actually makes me sweat as my extra hot. In any case I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased. Thank you. Oh, and afew sprinkles will do.

This product appears to be authentic Carolina Reaper pepper. I compared it with another company's Trinidad Scorpion Pepper product and found that the Carolina Reaper is hotter. The pepper is super-hot, but I do not think it would be overwhelming to people who have already tasted other extremely hot peppers (such as Ghost Pepper and Trinidad Scorpion). I appreciate having dried pepper because I can easily transport it and use it at restaurants or when traveling. You can also use this product to add spice to food without changing the overall flavor very much.
