Excellent Choice!!
I received this pan today and used it to make gravy for dinner. It's the perfect size for making gravy, heating soup, cooking hot cereal for one or two, etc. Initially I was looking for a "butter warmer" and decided to check Anolon Advanced and came across this little pan. Perfect!! I also own the Anolon Advanced: 3 qt. covered saucepan w/strainer lid; 2 qt. covered saucepan; 1.5 qt covered saucepan (have had these pans for a few months now). These pans are great and worth the money. Water/liquids come to a boil quickly and the pots heat evenly. They are heavy enough where they do not spin around on my glass top range. I also like the fact that these pans are deeper than the standard saucepan so there is plenty of room if things begin to bubble up a little bit. One other thing to note: The cover of the 1.5 qt saucepan fits perfectly on the 1 qt. open saucepan so I can use that lid for either of the 2 small pans! Perfect!! I always hand wash these pans (no effort to cleaning these up) and I do not use metal cooking utensils in them. I don't put the lids in the dishwasher either but I guess one could do so if desired. I would recommend these pans to my family and friends. If you need new saucepans and are considering these, do not hesitate.

Great Anolon pot
I purchased a starter set of Anolon about 20 years ago. We added pieces over the years until I had every piece I would ever need. The original set lasted a long time, survived a coast to coast move, and I used the heck out of them. Very sturdy and great for stove to oven use. Something happened to the bottom of one of the pans that ended up scratching my new cook top - so time for a new set. This was an additional piece purchased to go with a new set that was purchased. My old set had metal handles - this one has rubber-type handles but it still says they can go in the oven up to 450 (I think). I haven't tried to new set in the oven yet but if those rubber handles cause a problem, I'll be updating my review. I was also happy to note a sticker that says they are safe to use with metal utensils. I had only used plastic with my old set - and nervous about using metal with the new so probably won't even though they say it's okay. I babied that old set - no dishwasher - no metal utensils - love them like I do (or else). I will probably baby these too. Love Anolon!

So useful!
I'm loving this little pot. I was looking for a tiny pot in which to heat butter that had a pouring spout. I like that this one has two spouts -- very easy to use. What I didn't realize was how often I would use it for reheating leftovers -- it's the perfect size for 1 or 2 people, and the nonstick coating means I never have to add any more oil or liquid. Any small pot will have the problem of the handle overweighing the pot itself and tending to pull the opposite side off the burner -- when it is empty, I notice that with this little one, but when I have food in it I don't -- it stays nice and flat on my induction stove. I like the fact that the quality is good and the price was reasonable -- for as much as I use it, the price is actually terrific!

Perfect for one person.
This is a good sturdy little pot, easy to clean. I thought that I would have a lid to fit as I have other 1qt pots but none of them fit this pot due to the pouring spout. I use a flat silicone lid and it works fine. I would recommend it.

The Most Used Pot In Our House
This is my second Anolon 1-Qt. Saucepan. The first one I bought more than 10 years ago and it is by far our most used pot. In addition to being the go-to pot for soups it has become our de-facto tea kettle so it is used 2 or 3 times a day at a minimum - we love the size and the pouring spouts. The old pot is now finely starting to show some signs of wear plus we were in the process of replacing all our old Anolon pots and pans so it was also retired. The new handle is riveted where as the handle on the old pot was screwed on and needed occasional tightening so this is an improvement. The new handle is also oven safe to 400 degrees - although I'm not sure we will ever test this to confirm that capability. Bottom-line is this is a great little pot that has stood the test of time.

Close to perfect small saucepan
Everything (almost) I could want in a smaller saucepan. It heats quickly and evenly, nothing sticks, the nonstick wraps around so the outsides are also a breeze to clean, and they won't stain or discolor if something spills -- only the bottom that goes over the flame isn't coated. The straining lid is pleasure to work with but you will have to hold it on in order to fully drain the pan -- so don't dry to dump it all at once, that's likely to release an uncomfortably big rush of HOT water vapor. Slower pours -- 10 sec or so to drain haven't given me any problems. We use it most days. We've had the 1 quart and the the larger 3 1/2 quart for a couple of years (in the dark grey finish) as well as the large (and very heavy) "everything" pan, we use them a lot, and they all look and function as new; this is the most durable non-stick we've ever had. I don't know about resistance to metal utensils, we have plenty of wooden and nylon spoons and spatulas and as there is no need to scrape or pry, that's been enough. The is fin to blanch about a pound of beans or carrots but not large enough for a full pound of pasta. OTOH, this size is easier to handle and control compared to the 3 1/2 quart, which gets up 8 or 9 pounds if you put 3 quarts of water and a pound of pasta into it. The only thing that might be a drawback is the bit of stainless between the non-slip rubberized handle and the pan where the handle attaches -- that does get hot, and I've put a finger there a couple of times with the larger pans. A little rib or a small band of nubbly texture to give a feel for the end of the safe area would be nice. Highly and enthusiastically recommended.

Good pot
Analon cookware is generally very good, and this one didn't disappoint. My only complaint is that the nonstick coating seems to peel much faster on this pot than on previous ones i owned

Everything I need in a pot is in this one: the perfect size to heat some leftovers, gravy, cooking up some pasta, a can of soup or our favourite instant noodles. I have the medium size one with the handle. LOVE that I can drain the pot of liquid using the lid. No more colander! Also love that both sides of the pot have pouring lips - this has come in handy a surprising number of times. Heats fast and evenly on my ceramic stove top, and cleans like dream. Apparently the pot is oven safe. That’s a bonus. Love the copper colour! So much nicer than a boring silver pot. It makes my other pots look like the poor cousins. Honestly- I look for opportunities to cook with this thing! Here’s what some people may not love: - the weight. This pot is solid and hefty! And this is without food. Cooking a full pot of macaroni, my 12 year old found it almost too heavy to safely pour out the water. Saying that, the pot we replaced was, like, 20 years old and made of aluminum or something equally lightweight so maybe he just needs to beef up his arm strength. Me too probably. - the handle. Because of the weight, my son tried to grab the handle closer to the pot for some leverage and slightly burned himself. Very minor. The protective handle doesn’t run the full length - shouldn’t be a deal breaker but something to keep in mind when you’re handling the pot. All in all, a recommended buy. I priced out some pots with similar features and found them to be much higher price.

PRODUCT IS FINE. PACKAGING WAS VERY BAD .. JUST AN AMAZON PAPER BAG .. NO PADDING ETC. ... POSSIBLY SHOWS DAMAGE RESISTANCE OF THE PAN

Wanted something small but stable, with pouring spouts and non-stick surface. The first shipment was damaged in the mail, and Amazon sent a second one right away (free). The pan looks just like its photo on the website. It is well-balanced for its size and pours well. Because it is small, however, and the handle is heavy, care must be taken when placing it on a gas stove with a grill-style top; it can tip if not properly aligned with the grill supports. This precaution is made clear in the documentation that comes with the product. Very satisfactory!
