Binder Clips, Large, 1 Box, 12 Clips/Box (72100)

As advertised. Used for many years.

These are very secure, tight clips for papers, and appear to be well made. I weave. I have what are called temples, which spread the newly woven cloth to the width of the warp (the lengthwise threads) in the reed, preventing undue draw in, and improving selvedges, along with weaving speed and comfort. They have very sharp spikes at both ends, which are inserted into the edges of the cloth. When not in use, those spikes need to be covered with something which will stay on, in order to prevent injuries. Because these binder clips have a nice, tight grip, and are the right width, they are absolutely perfect for covering the spikes and staying on! Temples still need to be stored responsibly, but I no longer live in fear of stabbing myself with one accidentally.

If you have weak hand strength you might be challenged to open these clips, they are that sturdy. I think they will do the job very well for whatever you need them for. Comparing the price on Amazon to the price for similar clips at a local office supply store, these are a good buy.

Strong & long lasting but not cheap! These large binder clips work well for bigger jobs like a whole years credit card receipts or bank statements. In the summer time I use these to to attach colorful beach towels to our wrought iron pool fence for decoration and additional privacy. Also can be used to clamp pool towels to lawn chairs and lounges to keep them out of the pool. Also the ultimate in chip clips! One clamp can clip two or three bags of chips together!

Great for bag clips

Very good quality, but just a heads up, they are indeed hard to press, so if you are someone who has a hard time with that kind of action, these might not be the best for you. On the flip side, they should last a long time based on the thick gauge of the metal, not to mention the reputation of Acco for putting out quality products.

Other brands require more effort to open.

These are fabulous. Hanging and clipping alot of uses for these. Very happy with these.

4/5 because the box isnt white, its black, so thats not what i bought, and 2- it says 1 1/16 AND 5/8 capacity on my box. poorely labeled.

Good and strong

These clips have a very strong grip and hold firmly. I have been using one to secure my power supply cable to the edge of my table to prevent getting tangled with other things. I have also used them to hold a garbage bag to the edge of my table for convenience. These clips have many uses besides paper handling, this size is so useful, I also use the smaller sizes for some purposes like securing parchment paper in baking pans, sorting papers, photos, etc. I wouldn’t want to be without these clips in the house. I would recommend them.

I bought these to hold cardboard targets on some sticks pushed in ground for target practice. There big enough to hold large pieces of cardboard and a pack of twelve comes in handy when new shooters accidently ( or on purpose) shoot one, you can keep going all day.
