Great drawing sticks. Fat. Meaty.

These are perfect for my process of starting a painting. The size makes it easy to keep things looks. They glide on the canvas.

I personally don't see much difference each stick does in darkness, but I wasn't picky about that. I just needed a big graphite stick that would last me many drawings that could also give smooth dark values. I recommend.

These were a great find. I wanted something to use for larger figure drawings that would allow me to lay down lights and darks in broad areas quickly. I am still getting started with them and haven't found a huge difference between the 3 grades of softness so far. I love that you only need a tiny bit of water to create washes. It allows me to use them on almost any weight or type of paper.

I'm not a trained artist so I can't speak accurately to the quality of these. They're the best I've bought. They're also the only ones I've ever bought. If you would like to feel pleased/ distracted by dabbling around with graphite sticks, I can guarantee that you've found the right product! I'm not sure how to erase anything although I did purchase some faber-castell latex(?) erasers.

I do a lot of abstract painting, so these are perfect for mark-making.
