DPX DPXHTF006 Heat Folder Milspec, Black

This is a little bulldozer of a knife. It takes and holds a fine edge and I don't see any way that you could hurt it (Except batoning. You don't do that to any folder.) The blade lock is part of the titanium scale and is very stiff. The spring is exposed in exactly the place that you would want to put your opposing finger for leverage to open the lock. Unlocking takes some skill development to do it with one hand but is OK if you have reasonable hand strength. I havent' tried out the glass breaker but the beer opener works just fine.

To be fair the there was nothing really wrong with the knife. For me though the handle was really rough and the knife too deep when the blade was closed to make it a good EDC in the pocket.However, be careful when buying from this seller, its not mentioned anywhere in the listing but when I returned the knife I was charged both a return shipping fee and a restocking fee , in total $27 to return this knife.

Beefy, thick blade. Easy to open. Well made. Solid. Thick blade, fills the hand, very comfortable with the choil, thick frame lock made of titanium. Pocket clip is kinda flimsy for me, but adequate.

This a nice little people friendly knife in a very beefy package. I carry in a quiet corporate office. :) Decent slicer for the blade thickness/geometry. Will handle just about any real world edc task you throw at it. The weight is a little over 4oz but you can't really tell when it's in pocket. And speaking of which, the deep pocket clip is a true deep carry, this blade carries discretely. Very confident full four finger grip with secure purchase. Sleipner steel is NOT stainless and will oxidize if not cared for but it's purely cosmetic. There is some initial lock stick but that improved over time. I took mine apart and filed the tang slightly to expedite this. Overall, great buy and easily favored over some of the other brands in this size.
