Range - i am satified - better than the netgear router that I had previously.airProtection- the subscription free network blocker - good and does not slow down my browsing experience, I have had issues previously with my armor subscription ( eventhough it was paid ) but asus / trendmicro combination feels like its not even there and I do not see any lag.setup - easy, did not use the APP - i just connected my laptop and punched in the router address and immedialy got into the setup screen and it was a breeze.LAN/static IP - standard setup like any other router.connect from WAN - liked this feature. once you pair to your app , you can see throughput statistics and control other aspects of the router even if you are not at home.internet speed: over 300 Mbps upload and over 300mbps download - do not see any dropoverall satisfied.

I have a 300 Mbps internet connection from ACT. I decided to upgrade to a wifi 6 router and I chose the Asus RT-AX 3000. Am happy with the purchase. The setup was very easy. I did it using the GUI interface. Within minutes, it was completed. No problems whatsoever. The Asus app is also easy to use.Earlier, with my D Link DIR-825 router, I used to get Max 210 Mbps wifi speed on my wifi 5 phone. With AX-3000 router, the same phone gives upto 280 Mbps. I have a laptop with a wifi 6 wireless adapter. Here, I get a speed of over 280Mbps.When it comes to range, the AX-3000 proved marginally better than that of my previous router. Not significant enough, though, to manage the entire home with one router. In one of the rooms in my apartment, the signal has always been weak because of two walls and concrete columns within them, coming in between the router and that room. I wanted to solve this once and for all. Therefore, I bought another AX-3000 router and configured it as an Aimesh node. Now there are no weak spots or dead zones in my home. The connection signal quality in the farthest position does not go below -65 dBm or so.Overall, it is thumbs up for this router.

First and foremost, this is the latest version 2. While the product description on Amazon does not mention the version, since it says 2019, you may be led to believe they would send an older version, but surprisingly, this is a newer version. What's changed? Well, the processor is now a quad-core 1.7 GHz, and it feels fast. Anything I throw at it, it takes it all. I have a 3BHK 1800 sqft apartment and I get coverage throughout. So overall, it is a must-buy and I am very happy with it. Not to mention the security features are excellent, I can control time, filter content, and it's all so smooth.

Works with Kerala Vision fiber broadband. Using with the existing ONT (given by ISP) to connect to the router. Speed and rage is good. Range drops with concrete walls. Not the best but this one is really good enough. App is really good and can limit/block devices.Update: Its been 6months now and the router has solid performance and excellent firmware. Tried out the merlin firmware too.

I want to share this review with everyone so that it helps you make a better buying decision. I bought this in November 2021 to replace my previous router, the review looked good back at that time. With the premium, this router asks (above 13,000 rupees) it is a complete disappointment. After my purchase, out of the box, I got 2 broken antennae with this router, I tried reaching out to Asus support all over Mumbai but no response, tried chasing them for the next 10 months & got no response. Their phone numbers never work, no care for customer service & misleading service centre addresses. I got a call from one of their support team members after a long wait of 10 months & they provided some other service centre far away from my location in Mumbai, turns out their service centre published on their website are all misleading. When I contacted this service centre somewhere around Goregaon (reaching there was a struggle as it is located way deeper somewhere), they had an attitude issue, no working telephone numbers, located in a hard-to-find location with no cellular coverage (kind of like a dungeon!). Upon submitting my brand new faulty router, they simply closed the case saying this is out of warranty (I wonder where is the 3 year warranty?).I don't understand what Asus is trying to sell here, paying for a product above 10K, a customer expects better quality & support but it is the opposite here. I got a broken router which is of practically no use & is just good to be dumped in the trash. This was my first purchase from Asus & I have learnt my lessons with this brand. The other brands like TP Link, Netgear, Linksys, Belkin, D Link which I have used over the years never had any issues like the one faced here & offer way better support. Hope this review helps. I used to have a Netgear Nighthawk X6 router which suddenly conked off after four years of services. Even though it had a voltage regulator to prevent spike and thereby protect the Wifi device, it just conked off. I then searched for a similar router and found the Asus router meeting all the dots.Advantages1) Sturdy and well built, it is smaller in dimension2) It had Wifi 6 capability which was ease to configure and set up. I have a 1500 sqft home and with 25 odd devices connected at all time and still the overall throughput is good. Did not find major difference maybe since Netgear offered a tri band 5Ghz connectivity function.3) AiProtection that gives life time protection for antivirus shield etc.4) Futue protection so as to use AiMesh in case of larger space.Disadvantages1) Dual band deliveryThanks to Amazon for the express shipment. Also kudoas to SBI card in offering 1250 discount on the base price thereby making the router attractive to procure.
