I bought the first edition of this book in the early Nineties. It has served as my bible for all things astrological ever since. It is so clear and comprehensive yet totally authoritative. Wonderfully simple to navigate, the book eases you into astrological jargon very gently and is written in plain language. The old book was in a state of disrepair, so I was delighted to discover a new edition.This is the absolute Gold Standard of books on astrology. No other book I've seen or read comes even remotely close. And yes, I did follow the instructions bit by bit and learned to construct a birth chart accurately.By comparison, other astrological books appear to me to have missed out key parts of the process and to have been written quite lazily. This is an absolutely beautiful book. It’s a heavy weight compendium of astrology, literally everything you need to know about the subject in one very well compiled book. I was surprised at the weight and sheer content of the book for this price. This is the ultimate reference book and at such an incredible price. Well done for reprinting this as second hand older versions are available for over £200 so thank you for this up to date version but with all the original information!

I wasn’t expecting it to weigh a tonne and be so detailed! Everything is easily explained, in order, and beautifully laid out. It would also make a fab weapon if you were being burgled as an FYI. I was so pleased with how extensive this is and essentially is a foundation study book into astrology. I cannot wait to wrap my head around it and this shall be my bible!

I liked the book very much. I bought it as a gift for a person who likes Astrology.The person who received the book was astonished by seeing the front cover and even more about the content.It is an extraordinary, very detailed, sistematic guidebook and also rich with images which "say" and depict even more than the text itself.

My wife is taking a course of advanced Astrology. I can only say she constantly praises this book as being very complete and helpful in her work.It's huge (could even be used as a throwing weapon), full of detailed information, useful charts and detailed steps how to do your astral map in detail.Highly recommended for advanced astrology users.

My daughter is into Astrology big time! And requested this book for Christmas. It is jam-packed full of information, and well worth the money wherever you purchase it, but I would just say, it's available to buy at 'The Works' for around the £22 mark.

This is a very thick book, excellent quality. This will be a great reference book. I can't wait to read it!!
