Perfect!
I bought this to attend Rock on the Range this past year because to my utter disappointment, the three-day outdoor festival had rain in the forecast--all day, every day. Well that's where my disappointment ended because this poncho was great! I've never owned one and considered getting a cheapie disposable one, but this was so very worth the extra money! This kept my head and body dry and there wasn't even a hint of moisture (I was worried that the material might sweat)! My friend wore another kind--we both wore our ponchos w ball caps--and his hat took two days to dry out, while mine wasn't even wet. To my surprise, I didn't look nerdy and embarrassed but definitely felt a tad of superiority--a little rude I know--the the other concert goers who were worried about looking too cool and walked around soppin' wet all day (the rain was the worst on Fri and not so bad the rest of the time, so I didn't get heavy duty use out of but it was we worth the purchase for a day and a hald). Love it!!! P.S I'm a 5'6" 125 lb girl and ordered the small. I'm not going to detail the fit because it is a poncho afterall and is not intended to be stunning; it is indended to keep the wearer dry and it did an excellent job of that. Very pleased.

Super Bright Nearly Neon Orange
And I like that color! Just mentioned it for those who might rely on the photo alone. This is a very very nice poncho. Not your typical vinyl job. Please note; it is a vinyl-type fabric...but not a cheap-o. Proper ponchos for cycling are hard to come by here in the States...I don't know why...I have searched and searched. This seems like a good bet for the price range. It has a hood with a little bill on it. And cotton wrist bands underneath in front to keep the poncho from lifting up in the wind. And a zipper pouch in front. I'm a size 16 female and the medium fits fine. Only thing that's a little weird...the shoulders are extremely 'square' shaped. No biggie. Anyway...Don't buy the plasticky junky ponchos out there...they're a waste of money in the long run. Get this one.

I truly enjoyed wearing this poncho at our rainy football game
I truly enjoyed wearing this poncho at our rainy football game. It's very durable and thick unlike most rain ponchos on the market. The arm pockets are a little low but the snaps are very strong. It can be used as groundcover to sit down on after the rain stops. The hood as a cap bill to keep your face protected as well. I really like the fact that it folds into itself but it did take a while to figure out how to make it work so some folding instructions would be a nice addition.

I've only had the opportunity to use it once in a moderately steady rain and it did its job well. I was completely dry after a 30 minute ride. Well almost completely. My shoes were wet, but that's no fault of the raincoat.

best quality
I got the 2XL for maximum coverage and it's actually a little too big. It's waterproof, lightweight and packs into its own bag. A must for any commuter cyclist.

Warm and dry
This cape has been tried in moderate to heavy rain when cycling. You need to use the handlebar tabs and ignore the side openings in my experience (ie keep your arms inside the cape). I wore the hood with my cycle helmet on top. Folds up small enough to tuck into the side-pocket of my rear mounted bike bag. I wasn't too fussed about wind resistance as my e-bike compensates for the extra drag effect, the main thing is I stayed dry. I wouldn't bother putting it on for a light shower, I have other protection for that condition, but this is ideal for the heavy stuff. I recommend it and I can confirm it's a quality made item.

This is a good compromise between very expensive trendy makes and cheap n nasty scratchy plastic ones. It folds up smartly into its own internal bag too. I am 5'11" and I would say large is about right. It is a little wide but that's ok with me. The hood draws tight and leaves an oval for your wind battered face. It's waterproof but crucially what's good about ponchos is that they allow you to wear normal clothes and do not make you hot and sweaty while riding. They also cover the legs well. There are issues with pooling of water over the leg area if you hook the front apron over the bars on a upright bike, but that is just par for the course, you just have to bump the water off every now and then. I went for blue because I don't want to stand out, but it does have retro reflective stripes so it reflects at night. Every commuting cyclist should have one I reckon.

Versatile, bright and cosy
Excellent waterproof poncho. I use it on my wheelchair as it's much less restrictive than wheelchair ponchos. Also my dog can shelter under it with me and stick her head out one of the hand holes :) It also tucks away really easily into the front pocket and is light enough to pop in your bag.

Works but a flawed design
Too short at the back. Don’t think the designer has ever ridden a bike. Struggle to keep the back under your bum while you’re riding. Despite that it keeps me dry and folds up compactly into the front pocket.
