Very good purchase
Product and customer service are both excellent. I emailed Nitrofit last weekend to inquire if the equipment being sold had the updated cushions and if it was indeed gray as opposed to a gold tone that appears in some of the Amazon customer pictures. I received a reply within a couple of hours - on a Sunday! Jonathan H confirmed that since 2017, the equipment has shipped with the improved cushions and that the machine is silver so any gold tone in photos is likely from camera flashes. I thanked him for replying so quickly - on a Sunday - and I placed my order. The following day, I had another email from Jonathan with his direct contact information and an offer to walk me through any assembly issues, if needed. Truly excellent customer service. Regarding the equipment, I have used and really liked the Precor at a commercial gym, and I do prefer the Nitrofit for the seat adjustment feature, the calf stretch board, and it feels more secure when leaning all the way back. I am a small-framed female and the Precor at the gym feels like it wants to slightly lift off the floor when I am on it. The Nitrofit feels solid and stays in full contact with the floor which gives me the confidence to fully engage and hold the stretch. My Nitrofit cushions are more comfortable than the Precor at the gym, but to be fair, the Precor at the gym has had more use so I am not sure if this is a new versus used issue, but the important thing is that the Nitrofit is very comfortable. The Nitrofit will be a nice edition to my home gym and I also think this type of equipment will be more effective with daily use as opposed to my occasional use at the commercial gym. Regarding assembly - I didn't have to call Jonathan although I much appreciated his offer. That said, the assembly, while not difficult, was much easier with assistance from someone else. I started the assembly myself and did fine until about halfway and gave up for a couple of hours until I had an extra set of hands for assistance. The help needed was just to hold some of the curved (and slightly heavy) parts in place while the screws were started. A pair of extra hands made the second half of the assembly very fast. I appreciate that most of the screws were already in place so there was no need to spend 30 minutes sorting parts before beginning assembly.

Great stretcher
Great stretcher, thats half the cost of a precor. Its even better than a precor. Assembly is easy if you follow the video, which is very detailed and provides very clear inatructions. As stated in the video the assembly will be much easier if you have a ratchet wrench and a power tool.

Great Product for the Price
I purchased the Nitrofit Limber Pro Stretch machine a month ago to assist with the bursitis in my hip and to have something for my husband to stretch his back as he does a great deal of heavy lifting at work. I could not get a decent stretch using the floor exercises recommended by the Chiropractor. I saw a similar machine in the office and watched other patients use it. It looked like it would be a great help in getting the stretch I needed for my hip. The employees advised the machine was no longer available to purchase. Well that particular machine may not have been, but they have others out there. Thank goodness. This machine is awesome. My husband and I use it every morning after our morning exercises. I get the deep stretch needed to keep the pain out of my hip. My husband says his back has never felt better. The other stretches on the machine are also great. I will use it in the morning and again before going to bed. It has help tremendously with my pain. I did a great deal of research on the Nitrofit ($449.00) and Precor 240i Commercial Series ($728.00) stretch trainers before purchasing one. There were two complaints for the Nitrofit on Amazon reviews- 1. felt it was made of cheap steel (1) (I personally did not feel this was true) and 2. not enough padding around the foot board (explained below). I also found an exercise/trainer web page that evaluated both machines. For use, durability, and cost the Nitrofit won hands down. There was not a down side by this website. The pluses were it had an adjustable base (for height) and had the calf stretcher which are not available on the Precor. The Precor 240i review was very general in description and did not provide anything to sway me in spending a great deal more money. Recommendations for the manufacturer 1. Send larger paper prints of the exercises with the machine or a link to access printable copies. I was able to go to the Nitrofit website to see larger pictures, this was very helpful but I could not print them, I had to take pictures of each exercise with my cell phone. 2. Use a different color than grey on the placard for the start position as it is not real visible. This made it difficult to figure out a couple of the exercises. 3. Figure out a way to put more padding on the edge of the foot board as when you do the hamstring stretch it can be somewhat painful on the under part of the leg. I place a folded up shirt under my leg and this alleviates the problem. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would purchase this again. It would have been nice to have actually tried the Precor 240i to have a true comparison of movement and durability but I am not sure with the large cost difference it would have changed my mind. As stated above in the reviews I read there was nothing that stood out making the commercial product better.

Great machine!
First off - the "how to" video makes assembly super quick and easy. I didn't have to look as the instructions once. As for the machine - I love the stretches. I set it up in my home gym and now it's easy to add critical stretches between reps of weights and after cardio. Sure - you can always get on the floor on a mat (like I used to), but having a machine with a tilting seat makes getting into and out of stretches so much easier and more convenient. I wish I'd bought this years ago.

Bad back? Buy the Nitrofit!
Fantastic machine! I’ve suffered with back pain for years. I never knew until recently that this type of stretching equipment existed. It is a God send for anyone with back pain and poor flexibility. I have read all the reviews and watched some side by side videos on YouTube. This unit, the Nitrofit, is the best option in my opinion. I cannot see the more expensive units doing the job any better. In one online video there was a three way comparison, it showed that the Nitrofit is more stable than the most expensive unit of the three and had a better handle bar mount design than the other model. The only negative to this unit in any review I had read was the lack of extra padding on the front edge of the knee pad. The area where your knees rest has plenty of padding but when you are doing some of the leg stretches and the bottom of your leg is on the leading edge of the knee pad it can get a little painful. In my case I couldn’t tell if the pain was the lack of extra padding or if it was my poor flexibility…probably both! But I have solved the only negative to this machine and it is an easy and inexpensive fix. I added a replacement foam roller for another piece of equipment. All I did was slice it down the center on one side and it fit right over the edge of the knee pad. I ordered a 16 inch and it was the perfect length. I did notice that the foam roller would stay on during other exercises but it moved slightly. I trimmed a little more foam off the inside and used 2-inch-wide X 15 inch of Velcro to hold the roller in place. Since the Velcro is on the bottom of the knee pad you can take the roller off if you find it a distraction doing other exercises but I find it feels fine keeping it in place for all the exercises. It also gives you a little extra ‘lift’ and comfort when doing the Quadriceps. Check out the photos, here is a link to the same type of foam roller I used, these are sold in pairs so if you screw one up you will have a spare. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002URFCYU?pf_rd_p=faa1d3e1-fadf-4279-ac2d-3096206e4690&pf_rd_r=9RDHJJ760XQWEAMA5WJT With the calf stretch ramp, the overall stability, the quality, the exercise display, and with the one little modification the Nitrofit is the perfect stretching machine. My back feels better after a week with the Nitrofit than it has in years.
