Finally, a mug to please the gods themselves! The tough ceramic mug is as it looks, heavy, solid, and bold. I'm not sure that I could accidentally knock this mug over on its side if I tried. It plants itself firmly on your desk and won't give an inch.To test it out, I've used it in the microwave, there was no issue at all. Dishwasher? It laughs at your weak attempts to drown it. Pour some Valhalla Odinforce coffee in there? It sagely keeps it contained and close at hand, ready to impart its wisdom as you get ready to conquer the day.Purple prose aside, this mug is great. I've put all my lesser mugs back in the cupboard as they can't compete with this guy. It's also made in the U.S., so it's nice to be able to support local craftsmen. The artwork stands out, and the quality is obvious once you take it out of the package. It's got room for around 16-18 oz. of Odinforce coffee or whatever lessor beverage you want to place in it. I'm not sure how you can go wrong here.I tried to think of something that I don't like about it, but I'm coming up empty here.Highest Recommendation! To Valhalla!

This is my favorite coffee cup by far. Sure it’s a little expensive, but it’s worth every penny because what you are paying for is handmade quality. It is made on a potter’s wheel, and you can see it in the design. The cup is thick and durable, and holds a lot! It holds the same as two regular coffee cups, which is just right for me.The details in the design are really pretty. I especially like the clay swirls you see on the inside bottom of the cup. The handle is strong and fits your hand well. It’s not just a coffee cup - it’s a coffee tankard! And it’s the best!Here’s to you, friend! SKOL!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love this mug! Had seen the first Valhalla Java mug, missed out, and purchased this one. Beautiful colour, heavy, and made with a thick base and walls. A great mug, for a great year! Now, to buy some Valhalla Java.Will update to 5 stars after exstensive use!Edit: it's two months to the day of arrival, and am enjoying this cup still! The only ceramic cup to leave the house with 18oz inside. The aesthetics blow me away, looks like it was dipped in fresh lava! Thank you again for the cup!

Really nice mug. Really looking and clearly a quality product. Four stars until I know that it keeps the coffee warm a reasonable amount of time. The coffee that goes in it is great - get some of that stuff too.

Didn't buy this

Love the mug. Sadly, it came chipped, and because of a family emergency I was out of area and frankly, didnt even get around to opening it until after the return date passed. My fault, but I had more important things going on at the time unfortunately.To be clear- looks stunning. And I'm *not* faulting Death Wish. Very well could have been the courier. Just so happens mine came damaged. I'm debating however, in purchasing the regular Death Wish tankard/mug so maybe I'll have better luck w that one!

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. He says it’s the best gift I’ve ever given him. He hasn’t used anything else for his coffee since it arrived. He says it’s the perfect size, good weight, feels good in his hand, is really well made and looks tough. I feel like I should have bought 2 so it doesn’t have to be washed as much.

i received a broken cup and was processing the return when the company reached out to me to see if i liked the product. I told the that it arrived broken and they shipped out a new one with no questions asked. The mug is heavy and feels very sturdy in the hand. It hold the heat of the coffee well and doesn't transfer to the outside of the mug. would buy again.

This is a really nice mug. Nice and hefty, not too heavy, very satisfying to drink coffee out of.

Beautiful tankard , i like the logo and the big handle . Definitely a coffee warrior's mug,would recommend to anyone.
