This product does exactly as it says it does. Removes the green from the siding of my house within 15 minutes. Very easy to use as well.

the north side of my 2 story home and the attached 12 by 10 deck and stairs was covered in dark green mold after 3 winters and spring rains followed by insufferably humid summers that cloaks the air like a wet wool blanket. I did not expect to achieve anything remarkable from using this product using a hose end application and considering the amount of mold after so many years on this one side of my home.I made continual slow passes from top to bottom working my way from one side to the other. I did not wait 10 or 15 minutes for the product to dry as I figured by the time I had returned to repeat my second pass it would have sat sufficiently long enough. I used the side & jet spray setting to apply under the eaves and the fan spray setting for all other areas.I found it more expedient an less awkward to use my garden hose and spray nozzle for rinsing. the size of the bottle an its weight are cumbersome and tiring when trying to aim it up 2 stories (and not possible for me on a ladder). it turned out to be a lot quicker and allowed for more water pressure to pass at the uppermost areas as well. Using the same spray settings for rinsing as I used on applying, I made several passes top to bottom.The results FAR exceeded my expectations and my light taupe vinyl siding was no longer a Jackson Pollack painting of dark blackish green.using what was left in the bottle, I used the same method and spray settings to apply this to my deck and a 3 foot rise of deck stairs where mold seems to become even more embedded. While the results weren't 100 percent in removal here (more like 90-95%), I think had I used a scrub brush and made a third pass, it would have been the same. but given the deck is fairly old and starting to look weathered, I'm reluctant to blame the product since I was also using the house wash and not their deck wash.There IS bleach in this product. Make sure you wet down surrounding vegetation before and after application. also use protective goggles, gloves and wear OLD garments because any over spray WILL bleach the color out. the bleach isn't over-powering in odor and doesn't necessitate the use of a respirator, but you don't want to risk getting it into your eyes. Last, it's best to apply while the area is out of direct sunlight. the surface will stay wet longer giving the product time to soak in.Two hours later, soaking wet and my arms aching from moving around a 100 foot garden hose (my outlet is only on one side of my home , I would still buy and apply this product myself. It's inexpensive and highly effective. The rest of my 1800 square foot home isn't subjected to the same degree of mold build up and I'm confident that one pass of another bottle will suffice for the remaining 3 walls. It's a great solution for the budget minded willing to spend the time and effort. Highly recommend.

Ok, I'm ify on this. If you are buying the house wash itself, there is none other like it. This is a wonderful product that cleans with little effort. I enjoyed using the hose end sprayer as long as it lasted. Spray on …. do remember to wait at least 5 minutes before rinsing off...otherwise you will not remove all the crud you want to remove. Let it work! I found the same product at Home Depot so got refills there and dumped them into this smaller container with the hose attachment. To my disappointment, this hose attachment only fits this smaller container. However, it may be best because it is heavy enough to hold this smaller container up and spray with it. Can't imagine holding a gallon jug up to use the sprayer.Now then, this sprayer doesn't last. The last one I bought lasted only through 1/2 of the jug of cleaner. It begins to leak around the fittings, then on one, it actually popped apart with the water pressure and I could not "pop" it back together. I ended up using a soft car wash brush on a pole, dipping it into a bucket 1/2 full of straight cleaner, and brushing it on the house (did our large camper as well), then hosing it off. Perfect! Always wear eye goggles and be sure you wear OLD CLOTHES. This product WILL "tie die" your clothes and leave bleached out spots in them. But one needs this in order to kill the molds/mildew, moss/stains that appear on the shady sides of your homes and other things like lawn chairs, tables, propane tanks, and the list goes on. The directions are easy to follow, just spray it on and wait 10 mins, then spray off. It really works without any scrubbing . This product is really works like it says. I would recommend this product and will use again.

I used this house wash on our siding today. Within minutes it made a world of difference. Our siding went from greenish mildew and black spots to completely clean. I recommend this to anyone looking to refresh their look.

Tried this on my stucco and it did nothing. I have grime and mold trailing down the wall from gutters and windows. This had no effect upon any of it and it was tried on several different areas and multiple times on each area. I suspect that those reviewers having success with it, had dirt/mold problems that might have come off with just a little water or a much cheaper basic cleaner like Borax.Additionally, you have to get up close and personal with your wall when you use this (not a good idea with bleach). That means you’ll need a ladder above the first story. The rinse function sends a good stream two stories up, but the wash function is a light, wide-angle spray that you’ll need to be within about 2-3 feet to control and this stuff is dangerous – it is bleach - to get on your skin or in your eyes (read the MSDS warnings on their website)A far superior cleaner is Genesis 950 (on Amazon). It cleans this grime and mold right off and it does NOT harm plant life - it's "green". So, why didn’t I just use the Genesis 950? Because it requires a little more work: you have to scrub it a little with a brush. With the Home Armor, your supposed to just spray it on, let it sit about 10 minutes and then wash it off. The only thing that washed off was the product. Back to the Genesis 950 for me.
