I bought this product for my female pitbull. I contacted the business owner because I was worried that even the largest size would be too small. They sent me a picture of the sizing ( a golden retriever wearing the large sized hat) to reassure me that I was getting the right size. When the product came in the mail I put it on my dog and it did not fit and was so small that it fit my uncle's mini schnauzer/poodle mix. Unless you have a small dog I would not recommend even the largest size for your dog.

Be sure to read lots of reviews and pics. Disappointed didn't work for my puggle. Ordered the medium and it fits SMALL! I would have fit my mom's rat terrier, but he didn't want anything to do with it. Her shitzu's ears would stay in the holes but she didn't care for it either. I ordered it for my puggle and it was too small for him, he didn't like it either. Kinda has a flat shape to it. I'd order the large, but I'm afraid it just won't work.*Updated 8/1/17- customer service contacted me and they were very kind to offer me a replacement and/or refund for my inconvenience.

Perfect fit

I'm only giving this 3 stars because it didn't fit my pug. She's 18 pounds and I used the measurements they suggested. It did not fit. Not worth returning because of the shipping costs. It's well made and very cute, but since it doesn't fit my dog, I have no use for it.

Review update: I was contacted and the co. is very responsive to concerns expressed in the review. The original hat I received was well made and very cute so I'm hoping they expand their dog hat line to include sizes for average dogs. I still would purchase one!Cute but extremely small. Will have to give it away

Fits my little yorkie like a charm, nice and snug. He is 9lbs.

I have a chinese crested and she is between a S and M. I ordered the M flower. My dog never wore a hat before and she adjusted very easily to wearing this one. The hat fits her well from side to side; it's slightly large from front to back. There is a strap that goes under your dogs chin to keep the hat in place. I snugged the slide on the strap slightly and the hat stays in place. The hat is very cute and keeps the sun out of your dogs eyes. What more could you ask for?

Very, Very small. Does not even fit the head of my puppy who is about 15 lbs. Took about a month to receive. It's cute looking, but not very practical. Not sure how it would stay on any dog.
