Love this! Even 2 people is fun.

We (my husband and I) recently bought this and we really enjoy it. We have not played the regular SKYJO game but SKYJO Action is a game with lots of optional playing steps and it really makes you think. The playing cards are very colorful and well marked. Instructions are hard to get through but we think it is easier to start playing as you read the instructions. Then the game flows very well. Excellent game for teens and adults, but I have a 10 year old grandchild who is super good at games and I know she could play this. The box came in good condition and was sealed in plastic wrap. Good quality and was a good value. We would highly recommend this for family game night.

The original Skyjo is a cult favorite in our family. Everyone to whom we've introduced it has fallen prey to its addictiveness. When playing, we joked about how there should be a rule about removing 4 in a row (like the 3 in a column rule), or how it would be fun to add some new features, and Skyjo Action does not disappoint in taking that to a whole new level.Now that we have Skyjo Action, it's hard to go back to the original, I'm kind of sad to say. We thought my 6-year old wouldn't "get" the action part, but she understood all the action cards faster than we did and loves playing it now too.The rules seemed overwhelming at first, but after 1 or 2 rounds, it was easy and super fun from there. However, there are some weird quirks that follow:- The Action cards should have a different backing so they don't accidentally get mixed in with the regular deck.- When you choose and use the Peek card, the rules don't say if you can only look once and have to remember what you saw, or if you can continue to look at those the rest of the round.- When two people turn over a star card at the beginning of the first round, who gets to pick the action card first?- If you forget to call your star card another number (to get rid of a column) during your turn, can you do it at any time, have to wait for another turn, or not get to do it at all if you didn't do it during the first chance you got?- When drawing three, do you have to discard them in any particular order?- When someone plays a defense action card when they are attacked, do they get an extra turn, or is that only for when it gets burned?- When playing the thief card, you get an extra turn, but you can't actually use the action card that was stolen on that extra turn, correct?Okay, so this seems like a lot, but if everyone playing agrees on however the above questions are internally resolved, it still works out to be a VERY fun and addicting game.

After playing the normal SkyJo game, the Action version is even better. I played with some friends who had the game, and it was just more intense and fun. The game arrived perfectly, on time, and was quick.

This game was recommended by a friend. It is fun to play, fast-paced, and keeps you thinking. Just what we needed!!

Love the original Sky Jo game. Was hoping for a fun twist but the action cards are difficult to understand. Not difficult to follow the rule but the cards are pictures only and there are so many different rules it’s hard to differentiate between them. We really wanted to love this new version but it’s comber some.
