Adjustable Table Tennis Ball Picker Portable Ball Collector for Picking and Storage Balls

At the table tennis club I used a DIY ball scooper made from rack and net. It worked very well at the club which has rubber carpets. At home, I have a table and ball robot in the small living room. The floor is smooth so it is hard for my ball scooper to pick up the balls. This ball picker seems to do the job. It is made of durable material and basically the balls are trapped after getting through the net strings. You kind of have to pound a little to get the balls into the net through the fishing strings or whatever. Even though it can hold a lot after getting the container half full it is harder to get more balls through as it gets crowded. The picker is kind of heavy, not on the light side. The handle extension is not very long so a tall fellow may have to bend a little. The good thing about the picker is you can just slap on the ball and it goes in, whereas my scooper would kick it further. So it gets the job done more efficiently which gives me more time to return balls to the robot. For corners and tight spaces, it may not get to the balls but you would have to move the balls out to more spacious area for it to stomp on.

We use a my ping pong buddy ball picker at my local club, but I couldn't stomach the price of buying one for home. I thought the square design of this one might work better in corners, plus it was cheaper, so I tried it.My verdict is that it's not quite as good as the my ping pong buddy, but it's not worth the extra money to upgrade. The downside to this one is the plastic around the square outside is about a half inch thick, so I can't pick up balls against the wall without scooting them out slightly.Otherwise, it works as good as its competition. I was also surprised to see that it came with 10 3-star balls, which is nice.

It does what it says it does. Picks up multiple balls at a time without having to lean over. Love it but concerned the springs may wear over time

The handle end actually has no handle and it's just the end of a metal rod, see the two attached pictures. It is so poorly finished that a metal spike was sticking out and cut my hand.The product otherwise does a decent job, although it's more expensive than the quality provided. The rod is too short and I'm only about 5 ft 8 in.

I got this for my elder parents who are playing ping pong to keep in shape. My mom said her back hurt from leaning down to pick up 180+ balls manually. They LOVE this ball collector. There are grills under the basket that collects the balls and no more bending over and reaching down to pick up the balls. Great buy!
