My friend had broke his antenna off his truck and the radio didn't play anymore. So I purchased him that so he could listen to music from his phone

Pros: Fast bluetooth connection, size, cost, loud enough to hear audiobooks in a car.Cons: Dropped connection multiple timesThis was almost perfect for my needs (I don't have bluetooth or an aux port in my car so to listen to audio from my phone I need a bluetooth speaker). Sadly, the connection would drop out words constantly, making it infuriating to try and listen to audiobooks (yes, I tried multiple audiobooks and then turned off the speaker and listened on my phone and had no issues!)It would sometimes be "mute" for one second, sometimes for as many as five seconds causing me to grab my phone to make sure it is still playing and connected. It was :(I was using an iPhone 5S and they were at most a foot away from each other.Two stars because of the FAST connection, light size, and good volume for audiobooks in the car.Returning it today....

I have used the HDM JAM bluetooth speaker daily for over a year. It finally stopped working, so I bought this as a thin, inexpensive replacement. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is thinner, much lighter due to it's plastic body. The sound is not nearly as good as the JAM, not nearly the bass the JAM has. That being said, does it work for what I need it to- yes. Is it much lighter and thinner- yes. Am I happy, yeah.

The Battery lasts about 6 hrs. It is very light and feels cheap. I love that it has on on/off switch. I have many blue tooth speakers but what makes this on special is that it is so small I can put it in my hard hat and listen while im working at my construction job and nobody knows. Ear buds are obvious and not allowed on the job site and buds are bad for your ears. I bought a second one because 6 hours just isnt enough.

Trust me when I say I loved this so much I bought two. Reason for the low review was I saw it at a lower price -both times-and yet paid a lot more for them. It's an awesome product but the downer was the price.

the sound quality is decent. it gets loud enough to hear over a treadmill or shower.. the bass is not so great but i'm okay with that. i figured since it was on the cheaper side it wouldn't be tip top, but it has exceeded my expectations. it fits right into my back pocket or into a little purse, which is what i wanted. overall glad with the purchase. i'll be buying a couple more for kids' gifts.

The laws of physics cannot be suspended, of course, so, while a small plastic bluetooth device can sound pretty good for the money, it's not going to blow anyone away with its astonishing dynamic range. This thing would be great for recorded books, however, as it is very light and easy to pack.

This was SUPER cheap, so I didn't expect it to produce BOSE sound or anything... and it doesn't. I think it really depends on what you want to listen on this whether it's worth buying. If you want to casually listen to some top 100 tunes or something, it's fine (as long as you don't need to blast the volume). One of my first attempts at using this was to play a classical piece and it was pretty awful. My kids would be happy with it, but I don't see myself using this much. I really wanted to play something from my phone without relying on the phone speakers and I think it might sound worse so... I don't really recommend. The positive reviews had me believing it was better than it really is.
