I bought this because I got a Tiguan recently and didn't want to use the CD phone holder that I used to use in my rogue. But I ended up exchanging the Tiguan back to Carvana because the sunroof leaked and I got an upgrade to a Touareg. The touareg dash has a long speaker and it's sort of curved so I'm not really comfortable trying to use this on there also my new car uses Bluetooth for audio and has GPS and everything so I don't need to have my phone out for anything anymore. Sad that I am going to be returning this as I don't have someone to give it to. Come to think of it I might see if my dad would like this. Not that I want him using his phone while he's driving but I could show him how to use his phone for GPS. It's so amazing product and I would certainly buy it again if I needed a phone holder. The vent one stink the cup holder ones waste your cup holder space. The only other one I like was the CD holder and I gave my rogue to my daughter so she's got that. I didn't want to use the CD holder one in my tiguan because it to covers up valuable space. So this one is the best solution and I agree that it also makes a great dash cam. I would also consider keeping it and just using it as a tripod for my table or maybe even a phone stand. It's a perfectly good product and I'm very happy that the company is still around

I have purchased a dozen of these holders only to be disappointed on every one. I bought this one for a recent 500 mile trip and omg it worked exactly as promised. I have a billfold case and didn’t even have to remove it. I placed it on my dash and that’s where it stayed. Never slipped or moved at all. I am now purchasing another for my other car. I wish I had found this before. IT WORKS

There is a little pin that holds the clamp/spring together. Put some crazy glue in it so, it doesn't work it's way out. Holds my s20 with otter box no problem

Stays in place. The only thing is you have to rest phone on bottom to keep it steady.

Liked the fact that it weighs plenty so that when you throw it on your dash it stays in place. Great for filming self or using it in the vehicle for phone navigation. I put my phone in connector and plug in charger and long trip, here I go! Would purchase again.

I love the beanbag style phone and GPS holders for the dash of my car. I can move it around easily. It does not leave something glued to the dash that I can't remove. This product absolutely stays put unless I move it. My phone works vertically and horizontally (Gallaxy S8. Not a big phone). This is the only type of device holder I will ever buy for my vehicle.

I like the heaviness of the bean bag mount , it grips my Apple phone even with the case on it ! The price was right for the value

Great for unlevel dashboard

I have used many dashboard cellphone holders and all of it did not last but this one. The suction ones would only last for months and it would lose its capacity to stick on the dash. But this one, even if I make a hard turn, my phone stays where it is. I have been using this for a week now and I am very happy.

I use this mount for the screen of my Furrion RV Observation Camera. It is perfect for the job. Stays in place and does not shake about.

there is very little "meat" on the phone clip where it attaches to the articulating ball on the post of the base. this section broke very shortly after purchase. As well, the hinge pin on the jaw clip had a tendancy to "walk" up and slide out of place.This was unfortunate as this item was exactly what I needed. Now I have to find an alternate solution.
