1 year review, still working perfectly!
After a year of use of this combo set, I can say I'd gladly get another cygolite light set if I ever need a new one.Summer and winter, rain and sun, early morning or late afternoon, these lights still work just like the first day I got them.I've had zero major issues with Cygoligyt Dash Pro 600 and Hotrod 50 since I've owned them. Still great battery life for what they're intended for (can last at least 4 hours on some bike rides I do depending on settings), nothing has gotten lost or broken, its very compact, and is easy to take on and off.Its bright enough for nighttime and daytime use in your typical Urban / Suburban environment (that these light are good for) but dont expect it to be great for a rural outdoor trail (as a compact backup light, this can be a decent light for getting yourself back to home or to camp if your main light fails.)Only minor complaint I have, the usb charging plug/cover on the front light (dash pro 600). When it was new, I had the same issues as others have mentioned that the plug wasn't easy to reinsert into the usb charging port to keep water out. This has become easier over time thanks due constant use but it is an annoyance for new owners. (as you can see in my close-up photos, the cover is sitting flush in the port thanks to wear and tear. )Not a huge issue but it is something to keep a note if if your looking for rain/water resistant bike lights.(All but 1 photo was made just before writing this review, so you're all seeing what these lights look like after a year of use. Still had the original packaging so i did place them roughly where they were when i got them and at least show the run time per mode on each light according to what the box says (as its not fully show here on the product page).

SHOUTS FOR ATTENTION - SUPERIOR BRIGHTNESS!
I just received the Cygolite Dash 320 and was so overwhelmed by it that I had to share my initial impressions! My current headlight is the Serfas USL-5 Raider. My main use of these lights is to alert motorists of my presence while road cycling during the day. I use them in flashing/strobe mode to get their attention and hopefully decrease my risk of being hit. The Serfas Raider has been my go-to light for 5 years. I like its small size, light weight, good optics and impressive brightness for its size, and it's USB rechargeabilty. The Cygolite Dash has all these qualities as well but far surpasses the Serfas Raider in brightness, number of steady & flashing modes (seven!) and is still very compact and light. It fits easily on my handlebar without reducing the amount of space for my hands on the tops of the bar. The Dash mounts in seconds using a rubber elastic band and seems more secure than my Serfas Raider (which never fell off in years of use on some rough roads). The primary light modes which I expect to use the most are the Flashing Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) and the Day Lightning. The Flashing DRLs are 4 small LEDs on the top of the light, in flashing mode they are slightly brighter than the Serfas Raider LEDs and have a better flash pattern. But what distinguishes the Cygolite Dash as an impressively superior light apart from any other I've seen (of comparable size, weight) is the Day Lightning mode - 500 lumens of intermittent strobing of BOTH the DRLs and the Main 3 watt Cree LED beam! WOW is it BLINDING! Don't look directly at it when in this mode it's very bright. So given a chance to actually handle the light, mount it on my bike, and experience first hand all the modes of operation, I can unhesitantly most highly recommend it for daytime road riding as a brilliant (pun intended) way to get motorists attention! If you're looking for a compact, high powered, rechargeable DRL with numerous modes of operation that will shout for attention the Cygolite Dash 320 is a "10".

3 years later and now getting another one.
This has been the perfect light for me. I've used it plenty of times when riding. The handlebar strap makes it very easy to change between my different bikes. I replaced the strap as it was the only thing that failed (still after 2 and a half years). After coming up to 3 years of having the light, it seems the battery is starting to not last quite as long. I haven't had it really fully give out on one of my rides yet, but it's time to buy another one just in case my current one cuts out.

Very bright, multi function head lamp.
Very clear & bright light. Lights up everything in front of you in a far & wide spectrum.Multiple lighting modes. My main use for it is that it can throw a solid light in front of me while simultaneously flashing a secondary light for others to see me.This is exactly what I was looking for.I looked at many top quality cycle headlamps, this seems to be the only that has 2 lights for mixed function. It was important to me for the path to be lit and have a flashing function not one or the other.I often ride at night on sidewalks next to busy roads and want to be seen, especially when crossing!! This light does that, if that's not enough you could use the day lightning at night. You will absolutely be seen!!You will notice signs and other materials lighting up bright white over a block away.I've been using it for 2 months now. So far, so good!Charges in a few hours, battery seems to last several hours depending on the mode you use. On the dual light/flash I think I get 3+ hours. Not sure exaclty. And yes, the day lightning mode absolutely works during the day. Incredibly bright white light!! They claim 600 lumens for the brightness, I have found it has been tested at closer to 700 and believe it.I would prefer a screw down mount but the rubber strap & loop seems to work as long as it doesn't ever break. It does have a swivel on it so that helps you get it adjusted at the angle you would like even if you don't have straight handle bars.Over all, excellent buy!!

Safety first
I really like these lights, they keep the last chosen mode in memory when powered back on, so they are simple to use on a daily basis. I use them mainly during daytime to be seen far away by city trafic, and the flashing modes are very useful for this. The lights are very bright during daytime, and last a long time (about 24 hours before charging again). I wouldn't know about their nighttime power longevity as I've seldom used them at night, but they shine the road (street and forest) very well. For mountain biking at night, I like having a frontal light as well as a bike light to allow the largest possible beam in all directions (where the bike is heading, and where my head is pointing) to avoid any surprises. Very happy with this purchase.
