good pencil for kids from 2-7 years. In starting years big grip gives good hold and stability while writing. The only downside is that this pencil is unavailable in stores and on Amazon, the seller is charging high delivery fees. I enquired multiple stores and had no option but to pay high shipping

Just want we wanted for our 4 yr old child who has fine Motor skill issues and is unable to hold normal thickness pencils properly.This pencil improved his grip by a good amount. We have tried various size pencils (doms, steadtler etc) , various shapes including normal hexagonal, round, triangle etc and also various types of pencil grippers but found these to be the best match till now for our child. Every child is different so you will need to experiment.These Apsara Jumbo pencils are hexagonal on shape but much thicker than normal pencils. At the same time they are not too heavy for small kids to hold. Using these we don't need any additional gripper as these are thick enough.The package came with an eraser and a jumbo size sharper specially suited for these size pencils. The pencils in the pack were already pre sharpened so that was nice.Overall a good buy so GO FOR IT.
