***This is an update to the original review below.*** The seller reached out to me after I left my original review. I explained the situation and provided a couple pictures, and they replaced the solar blanket cover without any issues. I had a replacement solar cover within a few days. I am hoping that this one will last longer than the original. That is yet to be determined, but I am happy that the seller stood behind the product by replacing the original, even though it was past the Amazon return window.I purchased the Ardila Veela solar blanket cover to prevent my solar cover from getting damaged by the summer heat. I purchased this product June of 2022. By August of 2022 it ripped already... The material is very thin and does not hold up to the elements. Definitely wasn't worth the money.

This is a very nice cover that is well made and easy to install with the Velcro tabs BUT, as others have reported, it is about 8 to 10" too short for an 18' solar pool cover. We have to put a towel over one end of our cover. We would return it since it is not as advertised, but we like it too much!

This is only the solar pool cover cover. It is made of a very tough material I do not use the velcro straps so I can't comment on them. I use tie wraps to attach pvc pipe along the long sides and just drape it over the solar blanket. Quick and easy on and off.

My solar blanket reel cover didn’t even last one season! The drawstring fasteners ripped right off within weeks as the string was so brittle and dry rotted, they just broke. I resorted to tying the ends of the cover in a knot. Cover spontaneously opened up- (it didn’t even catch on anything). it was so brittle after being in the sun all summer - it’s been over 100° here for two months. It does have a silver (UV) liner, but that doesn’t seem to have helped. I knew as soon as it started turning “chalky” on the exterior that it wasn’t going to last. Although the Velcro closures are very strong and I like that part, I am very disappointed overall. If you live in the desert southwest US, better opt for a heavier duty product.

What a great product, it fits and is very durable

Fit (length) for my 18ft reel is good. Cover feels very light - like a really thin woven shower curtain. Silver lining on the inside is nice, but not sure how durable the over is. Worried that it will not last the season.I did not like the way it wraps the reel. I have a thick solar blanket and the velcro is spaced pretty far and leaves the cover wrap very loose. It's not adjustable and as you can see in the first picture, is a very "baggy" fit for the cover. The ends can be cinched, but that doesn't really help with the look.TBH, I've used a couple of white narrow tarps and wrapped with some of the nicer flat bungie straps that looked more trim and were more durable (at least 3 seasons in the PNW). Total cost was also less than what I paid for this thin cover. I was hoping that a one piece purpose-made cover would have a more thoughtful design and implementation for this rather simple use case.

This solar blanket cover is easy to install with multiple Velcro connection points and drawstrings at the ends. It also looks so much better than the reel and solar blanket alone. This is our second purchase because the product does break down over time as it sits out and is fully exposed to the elements. Our first one dry rotted (first the drawstrings broke, then the cover ripped), but we didn’t hesitate to buy a new one. This one seems even thicker and more durable than the last.

I bought this cover to protect my pool cover for the summer. First complaint is that it is not as long as it is advertised, it was about a foot too short so I had to tuck my pool cover over to get it to fit inside the protection. Second, I just had to put the cover on to extend this coming winter swimming season and I found that the cover was ripped in places and very brittle while taking it off the pool cover. If you have ever left a tarp out for a year and tried to move it, very similar experience. I expected this to last at least 2-3 years before I would have to toss it.The biggest complaint is that I found that my pool cover didn't get as protected as I would have expected from this, so now I'm likely going to have to replace the pool cover as well. Lesson learned. At least it wasn't terribly expensive.
