Does what it supposed to do. Glass is very thin and fragile.

Like the convenience of the tea steep/cup combo. Glass is very thin so be careful when you wash.

I use this product to prepare and enjoy my favourite herbal teas. It is great. I use it at work several times every weekday. It is just as advertised. So far I’ve thought of two improvements that can be made to the design. Firstly, make the cup / mug with a double wall so that users can hold it comfortably while it’s contents are hot. Secondly, make the glass thicker especially for the infuser. My infuser broke after a couple of months. A crack started at the edge of one of the infuser slits / ports and propagated until it formed a hole at the bottom of the infuser & Lezero does not sell spare infusers.

Recently I had the unfortunate experience of breaking the infuser with a crack running up and down its length. I had the joy of having the teacup as a multi-use, doubling as a coffee mug. The cup kept all liquids hot and enjoyable. I’m very happy to have it as a replacement. Otherwise, pretty durable. I expect to be using this for quite a while.

I look forward to version made with pyrexor an unbreakable glass.i use for loose leaf tea. It is all glass, (yes even the slits) so it is delicate. I do not use it too often because of that.

Just what I was looking for. So fun to be able to see the magic happen, as your tea steeps, through the clear glass. All glass makes tea taste great. Only a small amount of dust makes it through the infuser. Everything fits together nicely so no air can escape while steeping keeping water temp ideal throughout process. The glass is thin so be careful. I broke my infuser the first day I got it before I even had a chance to try it out. It was a first wash casualty, totally my fault. But I contacted Lezero and they were great. They sent me a new one ASAP. I’ll try not to drop this one. Namaste

I am adding to the review I did below a while back. This infuser cracked on me. I bought another one and that cracked on me as well. So, my experience with it ended up being very negative. It is great if it would not crack after using it a few times. While this infuser can work it will depend on your needs. In my case I have some masala tea leaves from India (Brooke Bond Taaza Masala Chaska with ginger, cardamom, and cloves). The tea is very fine. While most of it is contained in the infuser, enough of it makes it through the infuser into the tea cup. That does not make for a good drinking experience as some of the escaped tea ingredients / fine leaves, accompany the otherwise delicious tea to your palate. It doesn’t in normal metal infusers with much finer holes where the infuser is immersed into hot water after heating the water, instead of the tea being “cooked” with the water. The other issue is that while the tea cup might be able to hold 14 oz, with the infuser inside the cup, and your desire not to spill any tea, you might at best be able to get about 12 oz of tea in the cup. So, it might still work for you. But not quite as advertised.

The infuser is really easy to grip. That's an excellent point. However, The cup is too fragile, and it's not recommended to place the hot cup on the table surface. I would prefer to pay a few bucks more and a double wall glass cup. And the draining speed of water through infuser.. well, very slow, sometimes get clogged with some tea leaves if throwing in too much.
