As Advertised
As Advertised, I don't know about longevity yet . The pad fits correctly it's comfortable the 2 inch pad was the correct thickness any thicker would have been damaging to my mattress cover with tucking it under. The 2 inch gives me good softness to a very firm 12,000.00 posterpedic bed that was hurting my hips and almost caused me to send back. So yes on the mattress pad now I love my 12,000.00 bed. No Bad Smell!
I was concerned about getting a toxic smelling memory foam and looked at at least 50, but it was not a problem at all with this one. I'm rather sensitive, but it was no problem. (I've had a bad allergic reaction to smelly petrol rubber before and can't stand to be near the new tire section of stores, and hardly chemical cleaning aisles.)The foam is soft, but feels springy and offered enough support when laying on top. I got the 3 inch and could not feel the very firm mattress I put it on top of any more at all. Probably could have gotten away with a 1.5 inch instead. It's also not hot. Barely warmer than some (but not all) old spring pillow top mattresses.

Surprise it really did work
I had surgery and when I came home had to rent a hospital bed to sleep in due to the condition I was in. As we all know regular hospital beds are not the most comfortable so when I saw this I thought it would be good for my back and give some comfort to those nasty twin mattresst they give you when renting... This was the best idea I think I ever had. I haven’t noticed that it keeps me cool but that’s just me as I am hot natured. This does however make for a very comfortable nights sleep and really surprised me in doing so being that it is just two inches thick. Hop this helps with your decision

Comfortable
It is not as warm as my other, but hard to tell if it’s cooling as I’m in Texas..... and it’s summer 🔥I do love it. It came packaged well and there was no smell as I’ve read on other types. I let it expand for an hour threw then sheets on an it was fluffed and ready. I would buy another.

Awesome material & comfort level!
This topper is amazing! It went immediately into shape after opening. We let it rest for 48hrs as recommended, but honestly I don't think it even needed that waiting period. We are using it in our trailer, so we rolled it up and put it in a protective bag. As soon as we unrolled it again, it was right back into it's shape. Very cool. The best part is how comfortable it is. We cannot feel the seam in the folded down dinette with this on top. My daughter is very happy we bought this.

Be aware of the measurements
I ordered a twin XL for my 96 yr old moms hospital bed. She had complained that it was too hard and uncomfortable. The only problem with the topper was it was four inches too wide for the mattress. Being only 4’11” on a good day the extra inches in height coupled with the extra overhang made it difficult for her to get in and out of her bed. I solved the problem by taking it to my neighbor who use his table saw and removed the extra 4 inches. My mom is much more comfortable in her bed now and is sleeping in better.

Sweat box.
I bought this product due to the great reviews.This product is suppose to be cooling however it turns into a sweat box. Was comfortable for the first few weeks but now I have had to take it off the bed due to making me so hot and causing me to toss and turn due to it being uncomfortable.
