These are a great way to speed up leaf picking. The build quality is decent. It’s not super heavy duty, but for normal household use they appear more than sturdy enough to last several years. The handles are easy to grasp even with gloves on. They are big but the handle placement makes them pretty easy to control.I had a similar pair that met its end when they were accidentally run over by a car. Although those cost a lot more, I prefer these since the handles are easier to deal with. The other pair had recessed handles that were closer to the scoop. That was a plus for control, but were not nearly as comfortable as these handles.These are best for grassy areas or hard surfaces, such as patios and driveways. I also have another version that is smaller and has “teeth” on the ends. That’s best for planting beds since the teeth help avoid scooping up mulch. This model, with the smoothly scalloped ends, hold a lot more, but will pick up a lot of mulch if used in a planting bed. But on grass or a smooth surface, these are perfect for grabbing a lot of leaves, pine needles, twigs, etc. without much effort at all.For the price ($10 when I bought them) it’s a great deal.

I live under MANY trees. Each year cleaning up the leaves is the big fall project. I bought a blower and cut down a lot of the project but bagging up the piles was another pain. Each time I'd bend over and get a little hand full, I'd say there has to be a better way. I finally bought these grabbers and in no time at all, the piles are gone WITH EASE. They pick up SO much at one time that I was shocked. Holding the grabbers and picking up is comfortable on my hands and wrists. I highly recommend them. Thanks!

Love these leaf scoops! I'd always wondered what would happen of you broke off two rakes and used them to scoop yard debris. Little did I know, it was already a product! This one is much cheaper than other options I saw online. They're sizable and do pick up a great deal of leaves. My only complaint is, the top piece of plastic above the handle is unnecessary and kind of digs into your hands after using it for a while. This can be mitigated by wearing gloves however.

So, I have been clearing land on my property for the past 4 years... with the same pair of yard scoops. When they finally break, I will buy this brand again. I love these things and will probably give them a proper burial when they do die (which is not any time soon). I think I am going to be yard scoops for my Halloween costume this yard just to promote the brand.

The idea is sound but the wrist supports are way too short to be effective. I was able to pick up lighter leaves but the heavier stuff was very painful to the back of wrists. If the support portion was longer it would make them useable. The kids think they are fun to run around with so I guess there is that.

They do make picking up leaves a lot easier. I don't have to bend down quite as far. You can get one fairly large bunch with a just one scoop. I have fairly large hands, but these still fit a little looser than what I would like, especially when I use them for longer periods. I found that wearing a pair of old oven mitts help quite a bit.

Okay whoever invented these things is a pure genius! This makes yard work so much easier. I live in NC & our home is covered with tons of trees, which means there are tons of leaves in the fall. These have become my go to for yard work. They're awesome and I'm super happy with them

Haven't used them a lot, but they are much better than a much less expensive pair that I purchased. Very sturdy. I used them to clean up after tearing up a tomato patch, lots of juicy rotting tomatoes, and cleanup was a breeze! Nice product!

It took some trail and error to get the best benefit of these yard scoops. Our leaf and debris piles were too big to use only these. After we rake debris into piles, we found that just using one of these scoops to help scrap leaves onto rake or shovel and to hold them there until the load can be disposed of into a receptacle work best. When it came to the very end of the pile then the two scoops could be used. They came in handy then for scraping up the last remaining bits of leaves, twigs and or grass. The handles fit will around the wrist but did become uncomfortable with prolonged repeated use without a break. Did not find that much back relief with using these scoops since one still has to bend over and down to use them since overall they do not extend that high off the ground. However they are fairly light and did help hold the load down on the rack and/or shovel. Durability at this point is unknown since have used only for one week for spring yard cleanup.

I am genuinely surprised at how useful these things are. Picking up leaves and dumping them in yard waste bags is always the worst and slowest part of raking, but these make it much faster and easier. You don't have to bend as far to pick up leaves and you can grab a large quantity at once. What a saviour for my back! They don't get stuck in any tines the way that they do in rakes, and your hands won't get wet/cold/covered in animal waste. I'm thrilled with these and can't believe I didn't buy them sooner.

Good, but heavy on the wrists. They're great in the sense that they collect a huge pile of leaves each time, but over time they will take a toll on your wrists. They may be designed for those with big wrists. If you don't have too many leaves to collect, they might work for you.

These things are THE BEST! We put out about 60 bags each fall and these make the job so much easier!1) you don't have to bend all the way to the ground to grab the leaves2) you can grab way more leave with the super claw action!3) you don't have to grab the rake while you're picking up your pile because these have a rake-like end on them, they act as a rake themselves!4) they fit into the leaf bag so you don't end up losing half of what you grabbed when you try to put it into the bag!We bought a set of these for our neighbour who also puts out a lot of leaves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

this is a great improvement over the first bear claws I bought. MAKES IT SO EASY TO CLEAN UP THE LEAVES, now if they can design some for the kitchen, and kids bedrooms. LOL
