Freebird by Steven Women's Wing Open Toe Booties

This is the second pair I've ordered because I absolutely love the look of this shoe. With that said, ladies, don't waste your time and hope on this boot. It is the poorest design I've ever tried on. Whoever designed it, didn't allow enough space for top of the foot to make the curve in order for the toes to slide down into place.... Hard to describe exactly but trust me. I've tried different sizes and bought them from Anthropologie and amazon- these boots will break your heart. Run the other way. Boooo. What a tease.

After reading all other reviews, I risked it with this shoes based on how thin I consider my own limbs are. If you're not 100% sure about this, then better run away. With this said, my shoes fit great at the ankle (the biggest trouble for most, apparently) and this fit seems to get better with use. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I feel the straps closest to the tiptoe are somewhat wide compared to how the rest of the show fits. All in all, very happy with this purchase, only rain is stopping me from using them.

These are beautiful sandals, and I feel like I'm lucky that they are going to work for me. If you can actually get them on your foot, you will love. They are truly prettier up close and personal than in the pictures. With that said, the fit is incredibly strange. The first time I put them on, I didn't think they were going to work. But, once zipped up and secure, they really are comfortable. I'm typically a size 7.5, and after reading the reviews, I ordered an 8. The length is a bit long for me, but because of the narrowness of the entire top, I don't think the 7 would have worked. If your feet are even a little bit wide, this shoe probably won't go on. It's one of the strangest fitting shoes I've ever tried, but the purchase was worth it for me. I'm going to get a lot of wear out of these.

These shoes are so tight across the front of your foot you can't keep them on long if you can even get them on. I love Freebird and own about 10 pair but these just weren't good.

Absolutely love the shoes but the straps at the top do not allow enough room for your foot to slip in :-(

I understand why the other reviewer gave them one star...If you have wide or thick ankles or feet there is no way to squeeze past the straps on the upper part of the shoe as they are tight and fitted...I easily slid into them and they are a fairly comfy shoe. The straps securely held my feet in place without being to tight. The leather is quality leather and will only get softer. They run large and strange. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and my foot is NOT narrow. I tried them on at Dilliards and found size 7 to be the correct fit in this style...They are stunning and not clunky looking. Very hippie chic and look much better in person

I adore these shoes! And they fit my feet perfectly. My feet tend to slide right past toe straps, but not with these, and my skinny heel stays put. I can almost never wear size M width sandals and have to buy narrows...and we all know size narrows are usually UGLY. But these are so cute and cool!
