As we have 3 dogs I found myself filling the water bowls constantly. With this large capacity I can get a break. The dogs have taken to it brilliantly and it is easily cleaned. The quality is very good and I am sure will eventually prove to be great value.

I had a similar item for several years previously but once the reservoir was filled, you had to put the ‘bowl’ on and flip it over. It was always a bit of a breath holding moment as you hoped you flipped quickly enough to not flood the kitchen! After that broke I went for this item because it was cheap enough to ‘have a go’. I’ve had it for several months now and it is brilliant! No flood danger at all! I have 6 dogs and this keeps their water fresh. I refill every other day in the winter (before I start getting advice on watering my animals, they have free access to water outside). When I refill, I wipe the unit down and it is easy to keep clean. Yes, it is heavyish but this capacity was bound to be. As has mentioned, it does appear to stop working after refilling but I have found that it’s actually just an air lock - either tapping the top, wiggling or relocking the bottle fixes it. I think this a small price to pay for the convenience so I am happy to do that. Amazing value for money. I would highly recommend.

I brought one of these as my dad has my dog with him most of the time and as he has dementia and eye sight going he was forgetting to change the water. It’s a nice size and and will last my cocker a nearly 2 days. This I couldn’t put a price on has it does everything I need it to do.

I found the water bottle to be very heavy when full which made it difficult to manoeuvre it into place on the bowl. When the bottle is in place it works very well at it's job of keeping the bowl topped up. Sadly my dog is frightened by the glugging noise when the water tops up, but this isn't the fault of the unit. It's just my dog being fearful of a new sound. I'm hoping he will get used to it so I'm persevering.

I have a couple of cats and a couple of dogs. We actually just got our puppy a month or so ago and she's a real drinker! (she's bigger by far than my other dog too) So the small ones I had were not able to keep up with everyone! I bought this because it holds quite a bit of water! It works well, no overflowing, which is good! My cats like it and both dogs like it! It's big but we still have to refil it every two or three days! I would highly recommend this to other pet owners. :)

Ordered the 1 gal. And I was sent the 3 gal. Not complaining as I was charged the 1 gal price. My pets love the dispenser and my 2 cats and 2 dogs have no issues sharing. We have 2 in the home. Thank you for the larger size for free 😁
