 I never like leaving really bad reviews, but in my experience these are a terrible product. We ordered 2 packs (10 total latches). We have been using 6 of them for only 2 months and already 3 of them have broken. One of them broke in 2 places. And this is not with overuse or abuse, this is with them being opened only a few times a week or less. They were working great at first (although I will say that our 19 month old daughter was able to bend these out a little once they were on the handles) but their lasting power is nonexistent. I have added a video to show the issue.

I purchased these "latches" because I'm going to be painting my cabinets and didn't wanna stick anything on them just yet. I've had them for a few days and decided to buy a second set. Bad news is I just received the second set, and one of my first ones (from the first order) just snapped! I do have to open certain cabinets often (even with a walking 11month-old, can't keep everything shut all the time) so this one got a little more use but I'd hope this would not happen! If I had known I wouldn't have ordered a second set. They are quite convenient but I would not advertise them as "child safety" or use them for this - if you plan on opening the cabinets often- because apparently the material isn't meant to be used like this repeatedly. I will also add I'm a very Gentile person so I never used force or carelessly bent these things... Apparently they just shouldn't get much use. :( oh well.

I should have known better. These get two stars only because I'll find some way to use them, but these are a gimmick. You might as well use rubber bands to secure your cabinets, and it would cost less. To make it worse, these looked like someone found them on the floor, in a dirty corner and decided to package them as is and send along to the customer. I cleaned them off and may use for something else.

Amazing Product!! Works very well! With close monitoring and conditioning cabinets are not an issue! The strength to ease ratio is incomparable to any other product we have used. Only issue is durability. If bent too many times (like a hanger) will become brittle and potentially break --> just ensure you change your fulcrum position on the product and it should not be an issue

Worked well for a couple of months. used it for keeping cabinet doors from being open, but the numerous bending and rebinding took its tole and the rod inside had snapped in two of them so far. Though the idea is great and these do work from keeping lil ones from getting into cabinets, unfortunately the rod inside can only take so much bending.

I got these for small round knobs we have on the entertainment center. It does the job and no kids have tried to pry them off but I bet they could if they wanted. They don't seem superman strong, lol

My daughter has managed to get every childproof locks off the kitchen cabinets. These may not look that great wrapped around the knobs. But she officially cannot get into my cabinets......finally!

They are exactly as advertised. They shipped quickly. They work great. Once my baby is walking, steady, and stronger they might not work as well. They're cost effective and won't damage the cabinets and that is exactly what we needed right now. I'm not disappointed at all.
