Personally, I think reviews from people who have had products for awhile are more meaningful because you want to know how a product holds up over time. This scoop is so good that I recently ordered a second one. Since ordering the first one, I've had scoops by other makers that aren't as good for a few reasons. Other scoops often have a poorly designed shape where they don't hold as much or the contents fall out easier, or they are somehow cumbersome to use due to the shape or design. Other scoops are often a low quality, cheap and flimsy plastic. This one holds a lot, the contents don't fall out until you pour, it's a strong and durable plastic. It holds up well overtime even being put in the dishwasher.
