Delivery was fast. They package the product like it’s art. So carefully and well done. The conditioner leaves my hair silky soft. It’s the best conditioner I have ever had. Seriously! I have fine hair and other products are too heavy. It doesn’t way my hair down and the scent is light and clean.

This trio looks good — clear shampoo and non-aerosol spray, creamy conditioner. Light, acceptable scent consistent across all three products. But if you’ve got long hair, proceed with caution! My hair felt stripped and heavy after using the shampoo and conditioner together several days, and separately on other days.😑 The shampoo feels and acts more like clarifying shampoo. My hair felt almost squeaky after rinsing thoroughly (a bad thing for hair, much better for glassware). My scalp did not feel cleansed. It was difficult to rinse at the scalp, but pretty easy to rinse from sectioned hair.😞 The conditioner. Doesn’t. As in, does not condition. It functioned all right as a detangler, but it is marketed as a product that moisturizes. Yes, my hair was fuller after air-drying than normal. But it also felt like a clump of hay: dry and straight, with the natural body vanished. I should note that my hair normally is not dry except at the ends, and I condition faithfully. The closest it gets to this texture is if I dry it with heat or let it go two days without shampooing.😞 The non-aerosol spray goes on in a fine, easily directed mist. Yes, it helped control my super-overdue-for-a-trim bangs. But no matter how lightly I applied it or how few sprays I used, my hair separated into chunklets each and every time. I had been hoping this would be a more frugal solution than my usual “It’s a 10” product, but this also felt drying, and it does not massage-in for tousling the way my go-to does.😷 Special alert for the scent-sensitive. These products have a relatively light scent when applied but omigosh does it linger. I used the trio one final time last night before sitting down to write this from my notes, and my hair still smells. Fourteen (14) hours later.I cannot recommend this.

This set comes with a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and styling spray. Overall, this is a nice set of hair care products. My husband and I have been using TRESemme shampoo and conditioner for quite a while and we are both pleased with both of these products. It moisturizes your hair without leaving it too heavy. It works better on my husband’s hair which is thicker and dryer than mine.I wasn’t familiar with the styling and hold spray before this, but the instructions say the product can be sprayed on wet hair before drying or on dry hair before styling. I tried both methods and they leave a light but pleasant scent on your hair. I had the best results when spraying on my wet hair and then either styling or letting it dry naturally. My hair felt softer and had less frizz after using the spray. However, I have relatively oily hair and skin and by the evening, my face felt oilier than usual. I also didn’t notice that my hair had visibly more volume when using the product.My results weren’t as good when using the product as a finishing/hold spray. It eliminated some of the frizz on top but didn’t really hold the simple style in the rest of my hair. There wasn’t any noticeable increase in volume in my fine hair. I also had that oily feel on my skin at the end of the night, but that is probably just my skin. I think if someone had less oily skin or hair, they would have better results with this spray.

My first impressions of this shampoo and conditioner was just how good they both smell. The fragrance is that of sweet coconuts. It’s sweet, but not sickly sweet and the coconut scent is very pleasant.The shampoo is sulfate-free, and is different than most typical shampoos in that it barely suds or lathers. This was a different kind of experience while washing my hair and I felt I needed to keep adding shampoo to fully clean my hair. This may have been more psychological than actually necessary, because I’m so used to a certain “feel” when I’m washing my hair. When I felt that I had sufficiently cleaned my hair and scalp, I rinsed very well. The thing that stood out to me was the really clean and natural feeling of my (caucasian) hair. I mention this, because I don’t know how well this would work on ethnic hair, but do have concerns it may cause problems and strip it.I noted that my hair and scalp felt exceedingly clean and like hair should feel. I do know that changing one’s shampoo from time to time can help to eliminate the normally undetectable “coating” that the regularly used shampoo can leave behind, but this felt like it did more than the occasional switch-up does. The follow-up with the conditioner was also a pleasant experience, as my hair felt a very pleasant “slip” or great smoothness to it as I was rinsing it out. Because I have naturally oily to normal scalp/hair, I only apply conditioner halfway down my hair, so I never apply conditioner to my entire head/scalp. My scalp nor hair feel greasy, oily or weighed down.I towel dried my hair to nearly dry, and the slight natural waves that my hair can get really came out. I used the styling aid on my hair and it felt a little like watered-down spray gel or very watery hair spray. I liked it okay, but wasn’t particularly “wowed” with it, nor did I feel bummed by it, it was better than nothing, but not as strong and firm as my typical gels and mousses I like to use. The scent was faintly that of coconut and also pleasant. Because this spray also advertises the ability to “hold” one’s hair after styling, I tried that but it didn’t give me the strong “helmet hair” kind of hold I actually like, so I did resort to my other products I regularly use for that.While I very much like the shampoo and conditioner and think that the styling product is alright, I don’t intend to use this set at every shampoo. However, I do think I will incorporate using this shampoo several times a month to keep residue/build-up removed from my hair and scalp. This will also make my regular shampoo more effective. The main reason is it takes me longer to use this shampoo, as I ended up reapplying more shampoo until I “felt” it was enough. I may incorporate this conditioner into my routine more frequently, however, as I found it to be very pleasant to use and my hair did feel nicely conditioned afterwards. As for the styling spray, I will likely use this a few times a month on the odd days I don’t want much rigid hold.All things considered, I feel impressed by the set on the whole. I’ve tried some other TRESemmé products years ago and wasn’t terribly pleased with them. However, this set did a surprisingly good job. I’m giving the spray a pass because I have odd requirements for most of my styling aids, and do recognize the spray is good to use as a lightweight styling spray as well as a very light hold hair spray. My hair still feels great--very touchable, healthy and clean, as does my scalp. Much of that fabulous coconut scent is gone from my hair, although it may be ever so slightly detectable to some. I am pleased enough with the shampoo and conditioner to work it in on a few times a month basis, and the styling aid on a just now and then basis. Thanks for reading.
