The ONLY USB 3.2 hub I could find on AMZN!
I have a new laptop with all the bells-and-whistles...but like most laptops, it doesn't seem to have enough USB ports for the odd occasion when I may need to plug in a couple of external hard drives on top of the my wireless mouse and wireless keyboard dongles, etc. Since my laptop comes with the higher/faster USB 3.2 ports, including both the standard type A and the latest type C, I was looking for something that would allow me to keep the higher speed 3.2 standard while allowing me the flexibility to have BOTH types of ports hubbed-out. There are plenty of hubs with the run-of-the-mill 3.0 connections in both type A and type C, but since I spent a lot of money on my laptop I wanted to make sure I took advantage of the higher speed offered by USB 3.2. So my search finally led me here to the Juiced Systems Quad Hub with two each, Type A and C USB 3.2 connections. I tested the ports with both types of connectors and they work fine. Plugging it in, it was immediately recognized by Windows 10 Pro. The size is perfect and the aluminum body seems very sturdy. The cord length is kind of short at around 6 inches, but works if you don't mind plugging in your peripherals close to your computer. I knew this going in, so it's not an issue. Nonetheless, beggars-can't-be-choosers, and since is the only hub with the aforementioned suits, I have to highly recommend it with the maximum five stars. If they decided to make it with a two-foot cord length I'd increase my rating to 6 stars (if AMZN let me).

Quadhub works for me
I use the 2 USB A-type ports on my MSI GF65 laptop PC to connect two additional USB Portable Monitors. The Quadhub connected to one of the MSI GF65 Type-C ports gave me 2 additional USB Type-A ports and 2 USB Type-C ports. It works fine. The only improvement I would recommend is a longer cord for the Quadhub's Type-C USB plug. The 3.5-inch cord should be at least 8-to10 inches so as not to crowd the area beside my laptop.

Short cord, and sometimes disconnects, but works great.
Aside from having an extremely short cord, and the occasional (read: rare) problem with it needing to be re-plugged in, this is a great device. Allows for additional USB 3 devices to connect to your computer, without slowing down transfer speeds.

Computer would not reboot with the hub plugged in
I don't know for sure if this is a problem with my system or the hub, but when I replaced the hub with this Inateck hub https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J495LYS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the computer boots just fine, very fast. What was happening was my I-9 desktop would hang on reboot, but would do a cold boot just fine. On reboot I got an interminable dots-going-in-circle until I did a hard shutdown, or as I recently discovered, unplugged the hub and the desktop came up immediately. The Juiced Systems hub was very fast, but did not get along with my computer on reboot. I had one or two 8TB Samsung SSDs attached, and it did not matter if it was one or two. Works great with two 8TB SSDs as long as you don't need to reboot. But with updates coming you can't avoid rebooting. And yes, I know that is a lot of space but just like most 78 year old women, I need a lot of space for my daily and weekly backups.

Disconnected and Trashed My Time Machine Backup
Final verdict (original review at the bottom):This hub should only be used to connect self-powered and low-power noncritical devices (such as mice and keyboards). I had contacted the manufacturer before purchasing, to make sure that the hub could power external SSDs using only the 15W provided by my iMac’s Thunderbolt port, and they’d assured me that it would. Well, it clearly doesn’t.My external SSDs draw a peak of ≈ 3W each, yet the hub can’t even keep them powered reliably when one of them is in use, let alone two. As a result, I’ve had several Time Machine backups trashed. At one point, I even tried plugging in a wireless mouse receiver into the hub; without fail, my external drive disconnected within seconds of every Time Machine backup.Thankfully, Apple has finally implemented APFS support for Time Machine backups, so those disconnects no longer trash the entire drive. It’s the only reason I can keep using this hub with my external drives: disconnects no longer result in catastrophic failure (low bar, I know). I just wish I’d purchased a powered hub instead of taking the manufacturer’s word that this one could adequately distribute power from the Thunderbolt port.Lastly, the built-in USB-C cable is EXTREMELY short. Only consider using this hub on a laptop, or with a machine that has a USB-C port near a flat surface. On my iMac, the cable isn’t long enough to rest the hub on my desk, so I have to set it on top of the nearby cables to keep it from dangling in midair. Not a huge deal, but still another strike against a truly subpar product.Original review:This seemed like a well-made device, and a great value for the ports it offers. And for the first 2½ months, it worked very well, delivering the speeds it advertised. Then today, I unlocked my computer, only to find one of my two external drives disconnected, with the other showing a Time Machine error on write. It was still showing as connected, but inaccessible. Disk Utility froze trying to enumerate my drives, and nothing could bring either of them back online, so I had to reboot.Upon rebooting, the drive that had previously disappeared came back with seemingly no errors, but the Time Machine backup was still inaccessible and erroring out every time I tried to access it. In the end, I had to reformat it, losing my computer’s backups.I’m not sure I want to keep trusting this hub, at this point.

The best USB-C Data Transfer Speeds
This is by the far best data transfer speeds from any drive I have tried. Backing up files from Western Digital external SSD drive to USB-a external hard drive are insane. I am getting 200 MB/s data transfer speeds. I have tried several USB-C hubs and was only getting transfer speeds of 35 MB/s. This is not a hub for hooking up external monitors and is not advertised as such. I only use it for transfering large file sizes between my drives at USB-C speeds.

Not enough power for my 2TB USB-C SSD, but otherwise works okay. (YMMV)
It’s hard to get a USB hub with multi USB-C ports. This has two which is helpful. Also has two USB-A ports. I’m using them all. Can’t use my 2TB USB-C SSD on it though as it gets flaky on this hub.
