Works great and just safely slides along your skin making them easy to use. I mostly use for when I tape my ankles, but I used it on my dogs bandage as well. The slice right through the wrap with no problems. They're not super heavy so I just keep them in my backpack with my other equipment. They're about the same size as most kitchen shears.

Well, plain and simple, these scissors are some rough n tumble, cut through some stuff that you would think no way. whole roll of gauze, right through it. I folded a piece of paper until I couldn't anymore and cut through it with some effort. Gets every strand from self-adhesive ace bandages, and its durability was displayed when it cut through some sheet metal I had. The size of the scissors is nice, and I have big hands. Black in color, very neutral for whatever you plan on doing, m/f, could see these excelling in an EMT environment.UPDATE:Not really a negative because it would take a heavy-duty pair of cutters typically to cut through 18g and bigger (ie. 6,8,10,12,14,16) but for performance and capability reporting purposes, do not try and use these to cut large gauge wire/cable/hardware cloth. You will damage the edge and render that area of the scissors practically useless.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Excellent product. They are sturdy and sharp. I bought 2 more pairs because somehow the scissors would disappear after my nursing visits. The nurses would come every day. They were different people so I was not sure who took them but somehow they “disappeared “. I recommend them highly!!! The price is good and the quality is exceptional.

They seem to be a decent quality. I took a gamble on them being left-handed, because the image shows a left-handed pair of shears but as it doesn't say left-handed anywhere in the actual description, I kind of figured they'd be right-handed. Unfortunately for me these all right-handed trauma shears so they were likely photoshopped in the picture. I say that because the text is not reversed. They seem to be a decent quality for your price set of typical thin metal stamped trauma shears.

These are great surgical scissors. They cut through Unna boots (soft casts) with minimal effort and still remain sharp. This brand/model was recommended to me by a surgical nurse. I see why.

Love these! They are sharp and I haven’t had any issues cutting through anything. I use them for work in the emergency department and they do a great job! I love the pink ones as I carry them on me and they add a little bit of personality to my scrubs :)
