Quality Attic Stairs
These stairs are high quality. Two miner issues: The door is held so tight with the closing springs that the trim can be difficult to install. I had to wedge the door open to install the trim. Secondly, the nuts used with the threaded rod for the temporary install were difficult at times to spin down the threaded rod making the install more difficult. I would definitely buy these stairs again.

For small openings. Also, you must be small!
I had a fairly small opening to work with in my ceiling and these stairs were pretty much the only ones that came that small. The opening for these stairs is very square as opposed to rectangular, and our original opening was a bit more rectangular. So when the stairs were in, our rectangle became much more square and we had to really hug those stairs to get into the attic. I hope my HVAC (part of it is in the attic) never breaks...I'm not sure it would fit through this tiny opening and be able to squeeze passed the stairs. It's so small that you'll have to have someone pass you the box you wanted to put in the attic, because there won't be enough room for you to carry it yourself and climb the stairs and get through the hole at the same time.
