I am particular about my halvah texture. I like there to be a tiny hint of chewiness, and for it to flake apart into strings... this qualifies, just barely. Though I have better luck when I can find ones with eggwhite or soapwort. The best thing about this is that it isn't disgustingly sweet like many halvahs are. Whether or not you are avoiding sugar for health reasons things simply taste better when the flavors are allowed to shine not hidden under the taste of extreme amounts of sugar.The containers are an odd size. Too big for one person to eat in a sitting without feeling sick, yet still tiny. Perfect for 2 or 3 people to share. But if you have leftovers don't worry about the absence of a lid- the foil can be put back down for a decent enough covering.Let me reiterate: these dishes provide 2 or maybe 3 modest portions for about $5.I hadn't checked the size when I bought so was shocked when I got them and saw they were so small. But it's ok. About double the cost of a gross cheap mainstream candybar but that's fair since they are easily twice as tasty and ten times better for you! But I wish they had an option to buy a big tub of it at a better per-gram cost.

Agree with other reviewers. I expected them to be larger, given the price. On the SCD diet, we always end up paying so much more for food and I guess this is no different. It was delicious and my daughter was happy so that’s most important!

I loved the texture and taste. I sampled the plain/regular and the espresso. The almond arrived damaged/open so I am waiting to hear back (no clear way to request a partial refund, though I left a message somewhere). I also found that they have their own website so ordered in bulk directly through them. Price is cheaper, though you do have to pay shipping. I am SO ecstatic as a person who follows the SCD diet to find this seemingly "legal" treat that I didn't have to cook myself! I am going to try a bunch of their baked goods and pasta (lentil orzo!) too. I can't tell you how exciting this is. I loved each flavor I tried in it's own way--flaky, sesame-oily, and just the right amount of sweet. And the espresso flavor!!! Amazing. Excited to try out the almond!

We were hoping this would be a nice travel size but it ended up in the trash. Too dry and rubbery. Needed to be in a bigger batch.

Not what I was used to. Too wet, can't eat it with your fingers too sticky. Flavor was ok but would not order this again.

The honey halva is delicious. It doesn't have any additives, and it is Organic.We eat it as is, or cut pieces to put in salads.

I just love it. This halve tastes great, not too sweet, and most important it is organic. My favor snack from now on, if I need something sweet. Absolutely great!
