Is this laminator good for foiling?

Yes I have used it in the past for foiling.

Could you Laminate different shapes, as want to make Alice in wonderland directional signs .

You would need to place the smaller shapes into an A4 laminate sheet and then cut around them once it has been through the laminator. It’s important the sealed end of the laminating sheet is fed into the machine first.

does it have a kite mark and three pin plug

I've just realised I've ordered 175 micron pouches, will they still work with this machine?

I have been using pouches labelled as 250 micron. Looking at the small print they are actually 2 x 125 micron so your 175 micons might be thinner than you think.
