All the wheels were falling off the lower rack of my Kitchenaid dishwasher every day after almost 8 years of use. The plastic posts (axles) were too loose when rolling the rack in and out. My wife was ready to order another dishwasher if the wheels could not be fixed. I "hacked" a temporary fix using small sheet metal screws inside each post to tighten them in the wheel assembly. However, it was just a matter of time before rust was going to be a problem a problem. The official parts repair site wanted over a hundred bucks to replace all four wheel assemblies. But amazon had the "improved" version (no metal / all plastic enhanced fit posts) for less than $20. I ordered the set and received yesterday. Not installed yet, but I compared them to the original and it looks good to go for at least another 8 years. Will update if any problems with install or usage.

I’ve had my Kitchenaid dishwasher for about 4 years and the drain pump went bad (very grateful I bought the extended warrantee). While the repair tech was here from xxxxx repair service, I asked him to give me a price on replacing the lower rack rollers as two were broken from wear and the other two were on their way out. He quoted me $53 each!! Knowing I was being taken for a ride, I politely declined that repair and found these babies right here on Amazon for $18 for all 4 rollers! I ordered them and upon receipt was very pleased to see that they are EXACTLY the same as the OEM. Installed all 4 replacement rollers myself in less than 10 minutes. Saved me almost $200! LOVE these wheels! Fits my KitchenAid dishwasher perfectly. I went to YouTube and found a video from ApplicanceParts Pros. It showed me how to replace these wheels in seconds! Just a flat head screwdriver to help pop them out. The new ones popped on, SO EASY. I was pretty proud of myself. I had purchased 4 of these wheels a while back and replaced two immediately. I saved the other two so I could replace the other side when it was needed. Well, a year later I replaced the last two and was so happy I had them stashed. I am purchasing another 4 wheels for the future as sellers have a tendency to disappear. Highly recommended!

All my wheels started falling off and really I was just looking for a replacement little plug to hold the wheels in place but apparently they do not make those. I looked at kitchenaide to find the part I need for my KDFE204ESS1 dishwasher and they wanted $75 for one of these. That my friends is highway robbery for a part that probably costs them $1 to make. I need all four so $300. I could almost buy a new dishwasher for that!Anyway I came and looked here and saw bunches of choices. I decided against the ones with the metal part because people said they rusted.These look exactly like what was in my dishwasher and after getting the old ones off with some brut force it was not too hard to install these. One thing I had one row of tines fall off when I took the old things off because that row is adjustable and fits into the piece I took off. So be careful to look at how things fit into there so you can put them back together.I will say that they do not roll as smooth as the original and I have a feeling with a full load of dishes they may be even tougher to roll but frankly I do not care that much. I can make it work as long as the basket is in the right position.Anyway over all these are a fair value. They are not as good as the originals as far as smooth rolling but I can live with it.

Very easy and inexpensive fix for an annoying problem. We have a Kitchen Aid dw. Bought 2 packages in case the first ones break. But so far so good

The wheels in the bottom rack of my dishwashers all started breaking off. I have had the dishwasher 6 years so I guess it’s time.

Every wheel broke off of the bottom rack of our KitchenAid dishwasher and it was a major burden. I found these and they fit perfect. I just replaced them so I do not know how long they last but as of now they work and they were easy to install.

Fast, easy and affordable fix

While these seem identical to the factor parts in both appearance and quality, they don't last. The heat from the diswasher warped the one I replaced to the point it no longer rolls properly. The wheels have loosened and the rack keeps coming off track because of they are no longer straight. It worked as a temporary fix, but it's not a long term solution.
