This plugs in and stays out of the way. Bluetooth works perfectly for 30ft distance. I realy like the charging pass through but recommend a right able USB C cable to go with it. Trugreen makes a decent low profile one that makes this work.Edit: I was using this with bluetooth hearing aids and it was snap crackle poping. I always thought it was causedb by the barrier my body had to the bluetooth but this was not the case. I purchase A Bose Over the ear headset with advance bluetooth 5 and the snap crackle poping did not go away. The headset works on all the other BT transmitters I have so I have to think it is the adapter. If you read up on it; This is not an uncommon problem for older bluetooth transmitters but even really cheap adapters have firmware updates to fix it. I dropped my review due to no firmware update that would fix an otherwise good piece of equipment.

I was in the market for a bluetooth adapter with a USB-C pass through so I could charge my Switch while playing if needed.I loved the way the bluetooth adapter fit for both the Switch and Switch lite. It felt secure, and I never felt like I could knock it off, unlike other bluetooth adapters.Audio latency was fine, but that was mostly dependent on the headphones you used.The biggest flaw:The adapter can be turned on while the switch is asleep. My Homespot bluetooth adapter will only turn on when I wake my Switch up. The Bionik can turn on (by pressing/holding the bluetooth button), which then forces it to continuously search for your headphones. The problem there is, there doesn't seem to be a timeout period. So it will search and search, all the while draining your battery.I like the form factor, and will probably keep it, but don't like the fact that my battery was being drained by the adapter when the button was pushed while in its case.

This works great for connecting Bluetooth headphones, easily paired my son's set to his switch. However, I researched and paid a little more for this particular model due to the advertised ability to charge while in use via a pass thru port. There definitely is a port, but it certainly does not pass any type of charge thru the device to the Nintendo. Could have gone with a cheaper version..... The Nintendo doesn't even recognize the charger being plugged into the pass thru port. Have to remove the device and lose the BT headphone capability to use the Switch's charging port.

Probably the best quality bluetooth adapter for Switch on amazon, but it's codecs didnt work well with my galaxy buds.The audio delay was way to slow and it drains battery really qucik.Other than that it works well!

Very happy with product so far. Just received on time and immediately checked out. Love that it allows for Bluetooth connectivity. Only wish is that it would fit with dockable case.

Allows you to use your bluetooth earphones while using switch. I couldn’t hook up my powerbeats 3 but the studio beats 3 were simple.
