I honestly love everything about this! I had raised beds and containers all over the place but I wanted them to be in one specific area to be easier to care for. At the same time, the raised beds can't be moved, and I didn't want the containers to get broken when weed eating the yard. Using this stuff I was able to create a very large area where no grass or weeds would grow, so no need to care for the yard in that area. Boom, problem solved. It's been down for months now in the deep south gulf coast where the sun is absolutely BRUTAL and it is holding up really well. No fading, no discoloration, no degrading, nothing. It looks exactly the same as it did when I first staked it down. This stuff is thick and durable, so make sure you get the good yard staples, not the flimsy ones. It's woven so it's breathable enough that water doesn't pool up on it for more than a few minutes before draining through, but it's also woven tight enough that nothing grows up from the bottom. I did nothing to the ground underneath it before rolling it out. I did not use cardboard to smother the grass for a few weeks, I did not turn the grass over, I didn't even cut it. I wanted to see just how well this stuff works, and I was not disappointed. Keep in mind, things can take root from the top of it and the roots will go through, so just watch if you notice anything growing on top to just pull it before it gets out of hand. Great woven ground cover for all kinds of garden work around the home or Homestead. Burns nice and easy and seals the ends from fraying. Better then I've been able to find in any DIY shops. I highly recommend this product. Use in raised beds, on top for weed control. Thank you.

These mats are awesome. They have reduced the time spent weeding in the garden to almost zero. Would highly recommended - as I have also ordered more of these due to the time they have saved me. They also hold moisture in the ground which has reduced our need to water our garden.

This looks like it will hold up very well and block weeds and grass in our flower beds for years to come. A very worthwhile purchase.

This is above-average quality landscaping weed control fabric. It is made of synthetic material and woven to prevent light from passing through. The weave can unravel slightly at the edges after cutting, but that's true of all such products I've used. The fabric seems durable and is easy to work with. No complaints at all. This will do the job well if you need weed barrier for a landscaping project.

Package was in great condition , but when I rolled it out to cut my runs , there was frayed spot all the way across the width . I went ahead and used it and hope this doesn’t get worse

Worth it. Used in landscaping property. Better quality than bought from Costco.

Thick fabric. Tight weave. Water doesn't pass through easily. It beads on the surface. Hopefully that means weed roots does pass through easily too.
