This is a starter culture of vinegar eels that will ship in a 4-oz bottle. The bottle is not filled to the top to allow oxygen exchange while in transit. The culture can remain in the bottle it ships in or be transferred to a larger container; however, if you keep the culture in its original bottle, the cap must be removed, and replaced with either a paper towel or coffee filter so the vinegar eels can get air. An instruction sheet is sent with the culture.
